Denver had exactly the same record as Thunder despite their second best player Murray missing 23 games and the only reason Thunder got the #1 seed is because Denver literally threw the #1 seed away in the final game due to pure complacency. Jokic had like 7-9 FTA with 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. That's their best scorer. They could've won that game easy if they weren't so careless

There are 2 kinds of MVPs, a regular season MVP and a Play Offs MVP. Jokic now has 4 MVPs. 3 times a "Regular season MVP" and a 1 time "MVP of the Play Offs" which he got in the same year he didn't get a regular season MVP. So he has officially 4 MVPs. Except the 3rd one is for the Play Offs instead of for the regular season which in my opinion is far more valuable then all his regular season MVPs because to be the MVP of the Play Offs gave the Nuggets their 1st ever NBA Championship title. Jokic himself confirmed that he is far more happy with the Championship in 2023 than all his MVP awards, so it´s not my opinion but it´s his own words.

Maybe his team won't win the title this year. Although... there's still time for surprises. But Jokič turned his team into a machine, which worked like a glove all year. He does not have, in his team, superstars of the value of those from American National Team, for example. Perhaps his teammates would not have become stars so soon if Jokič, with his intelligent and unselfish play, had not enhanced them. I say "maybe".
