Using it today, I've found the 'jumpiness' to the recoil is actually due to the Aiming Idle/Aiming Sway. If you put the free Aiming Stability laser on, basically all the jumpiness is gone and it becomes a more linear recoil plot. Edit: Lies - it's Firing Aim Stability
I like how the base FJX still has an arguably similar enough ttk to the kit that it wont matter at most ranges and better ttk at some ranges. Should still be fun to use with iron sights instead of having to use a reflex like the base FJX.

Gotta love the fact that they haven't fixed the reload/inspect animations to accommodate that drum mag, so the mag just literally clips through the person's hand in the animations lmao
This kit is awesome, it's basically the inverse of the BP50 SMG kit, where it makes the AR just like an SMG, of course, and with the FJX Horus kit, it's basically an alternative AR... and both have 60 round drum mags. Excellent addition to the game! :)
Best part imo is the reload time, funny because if you use the 60 on the base Horus, your reload time increases astronomically. Also the 60 invalidated the 48 round mag because they have the exact same downsides so there’s no point to use the 48 besides aesthetics
Agreed, and even with a faster mobility build I still felt slow-ish. Wound up going back to the Supri almost every game I tried to use it. I like the base FJX better.
What I’m not understanding is your gun is consistently performing like it’s supposed to but every time I use this thing, people are Over 20 rounds to kill one player either server latency is extremely bad that it’s a delay of almost the base damage or you’re white listed lobbies so you’re always consistent
You're not imagining it. It's a combo of the servers being ass and engagement based matchmaking. Not like sbmm(with It's own issues but less egregious). EBMM is a patent that Activision and COD own. Their system will actively nerf you if you're performing "better than predicted." It'll make your hit registration worse, It'll make your guns 4 shot when they should 3, and It'll gaslight you into thinking you missed. It's painfully obvious when you consistently use a dmr like my favorite kvd enforcer. That gun is a 4 shot at every range in warzone to the stomach, upper body, shoulders, and head. I'll go from smoking ppl easy 4 shot and then all of a sudden I'm taking 5 to kill! I'm watching my aim, and one time was really obvious. The only thing I saw was their head on a thick cement block head glitch. 3 to the neck and 1 to the head, and nada. Had to hit another 5th shot! Got hit markers for all 5. By all metrics it should have downed them in 4. Fuck this game and the way it holds shitty players hands. I'm no god at COD like I was as a teen, but I'm also not bad. I thought I was imagining it, but you'll see a few vids online showing this exact issue. Oh, and you'll find a lot of bullet penetration discrepancies. Those are obvious in gunfight. Literally the same gun. I get wallbanged but my gun can't even get a hit marker. Lined up identical to it(not hitting it at an angle, like both people are parallel to the wall) and you get screwed. Especially if you're about to sweep a team. You'll see little shit pop up like this to "keep noobs engaged." F this franchise. And that's coming from a fan boy of it. Been playing since COD 3 and WaW days. They are simultaneously the best and worst at the arcade shooter genre.
Wasn't the base version's max damage range boosted to around 17m? Regardless, this does seem to be a good medium range smg, though I only used it for one match after unlocking it. I still prefer the base version, as I'd rather have a pure smg than an AR/SMG hybrid.
It's 17m with the long barrel. They buffed it by 5 or so meters at the start of the season. This KIT seems redundant, especially when the range can be boosted to 17.2m with minimal drawbacks

I really like this kit, reminds me of the lc10 from cold war. Good range and recoil, but slower sprintout time and TTK. More of a versatile smg. Also those irons are so clean so much better than base fjx horus. You just dont wanna get cought in a tac sprint with this kit. It pairs well with infantry vest or running sneakers to cut the tactical STF time by 25%.
The 60 round mag appears to have the same down sides as the 48 round mag on the base FJX so it's basically useless if u want to use the 48 round instead of the 60 round. but I'm I the only one that can use the 60 round on the FJX ?!

Hmm, the range chart in this video is a bit weird, in the balacing video for the fjx horus buff was 17.8 meters (buff from season 4),how come this chart shows pre season 4 range for the base fjx horus. FYI: unlocking this attachment also unlocks 60 round drum mag for the base fjx horus.

I tried the loadout on basilisk with special ammo(forgot which one) and small,and it was smacking! On shipment basilisk had a one shot potential everywhere above legs!!! I think it is a bug and, perhaps mw2 magnum was already nerfed scince 12 of June 2024. But I got hit with Tyr today with same loadout! Pls talk bout them again

I’ve only had an issue with the under barrel for the Horus. I can equip any under barrel except the Bruen Heavy. Noticed when I tried to use the new Pro Pack Horus

Besides any potential lore reasons, it just makes it easier to find/discern any aftermarket parts. So that's probably what their intention on everything being named JAK was. Looking through the menus is already a mess, so this makes it a little easier on the eyes. Especially for the JAK attachments, which are lumped together with regular attachments & other JAK attachments.
In my opinion, the FJX Horus is still my favorite gun but I don’t like the aftermarket part that was added since the TTK doesn’t perform well, the movement stats are below average, and most of all it doesn’t the ability to change the barrel or magazine attachment on this one. As a result, I’d rather stick to the standard version of the SMG.
Ngl, this season AMP aren't interesting like the previous seasons. Probably the only one I'm looking forward is the grenade laucher AMP Which shoots termites, that will come in handy when most of the lobby spams the Kar98.
Probably either holding back or toning down some of the more crazy ones considering how much people complained about stuff being inaccurate or impossible to exist, too futuristic or too powerful, and also people complaining about content bloat.
The M4 kit was pretty unique and fun and has potential. Same with the kastov kit, unique and fun with the no recoil. But I agree I don’t like when they just make another normal gun like this one. I’m excited for the widowmaker kit for the KV inhibitor and the RGL kit even though it’s going to suck. Basilisk kit has potential to be broken depending on the stats.

294ms isn’t terrible at all when you consider the range. This kills faster than nearly all of the ARs and it’s still quite competitive with the SMGs, especially beyond around 10m

The base FJX recoil will miss shots in the 6 shot ranges, actual TTK will be similar if not worse than the kit.
The no stock approach on this gun is actually wild. It doesn’t affect the recoil too much with all the movement benefits

I got 42 more kills than the next best player on my team that game while controlling the map quite effectively. I think I'll continue playing in the way that maximizes kills and wins the game.
Base FJX is much better in mp imo
