Awesome phone hardware, I actually really like the back of the phone. But obviously theirs no Google Play services. So it's a no go for me. No matter how good the cameras might be etc. Also the hole-punch design drives me up the wall.

No Google doesn't bother me. Phone Clone will transfer the majority of my apps over from my P30 Pro. I don't download new apps often at all. Pre ordered mine 👍 whilst Huawei continue to produce the best and most versatile cameras I'll continue to buy them.
@Alex1989m - how to update the apps sir? I am so skeptical on buying this phone. I only use one Google app/service - UA-cam.
@@JeraldJamesCapao You can update the apps on your old phone and transfer it again to your Huawei using Phone Clone! Or you can use third party applications such as Aptoide or Apkpure for this kind of process! :) Hope that helps.

@@JeraldJamesCapao Unfortunately, it needs an old phone. Fortunately, iOS apps work but perhaps stock apps coming from Apple itself might not work.

Gotta say, I just got the Mi 10 Pro and I'm liking it alot better than these specs. Can't wait to try it out and see how the Pro+ does!
Looks very cool.
The purple accent is on their fast wireless charging cables. The cable is actually thicker than normal cables. That together with the charger seems to mean that even with fast charging the phone itself never gets hot.
I have seen it too! the phone stays cool, it goes very fast 90% percent then slows down to reach 100%, however u can change that also in battery settings to maintain the fast charging for the entire time but I would not mind at all

Why do you tech reviewers keep saying is difficult to recommend a huawei phone just because it doesn’t come with Google services. At the first place not every country even supports Google applications so that’s not a problem for them.and you are recommending the phone for the whole world not only the USA or Britain. It’s not all of us who care about that google services and there are lots of ways of installing google services on them. So please all tech reviewers should stop that bad comments on huawei phones. They are always and highly recommended to any human on this earth who wants to explore the beautiful technologies huawei has to offer thank you 🙏🏿

as I understand it, you do not specifically remove the brightness in the review of the smartphone, I choose a smartphone and I want the flicker of the matrix to be minimal, in no review the brightness is regulated, this is sad, very sad.

Seems pretty awesome. Best part no Google play. Does that mean no Google spyware, No Google trying to popup and demand access to my location and all my contacts? No Google refusing to open and work hands free if my phone isn't in my hand?

@@yuhin4694 Yes I have, but that's basically just a 3rd person acting as a proxy. Google could at any time remove access for them and probably will. It's a cat and mouse game and definitely not for normal consumers imho. But I would use it, definitely
@@LarsRyeJeppesen Google won't remove access tho, more like they probably can't, that's why they did a press release urging users not to download apps outside of the play store coz of "security threats", which is obviously aimed towards Huawei branded phone users. If they could do it, then they wouldn't have had to issue such a statement to discourage side loading apps.

It's housing not only the camera but also ir, ambient and proximity sensor, it's like putting all of the sensors in the iPhone notch into a smaller area. But I would prefer it to be smaller notch instead of that big pill shaped punch hole on the side, it's too distracting.
And the notch on your Iphone is big as United States

Why does the phone app and messages app look like the iPhone apps? Lol
Why is it hard to recommend? The App Gallery has all the common navigation apps. It has everything from Tik tok to Snapchat. And with the amazon app store or Apkpure you can get everything else. Use UA-cam Vanced for UA-cam. Relying on Google for everything is dangerous. You are told never to put all your eggs in one basket. I'm glad Huawei is doing their own thing.
Their phones are so damn good I will still get it despite Google. Google will lose my Google play subscription, my playstore purchases and my UA-cam one. I can use Spotify, AppGallery and UA-cam vanced. And actually even then, UA-cam works fine in browsers. Huawei has poured alot of money into their App Gallery. Developers get to keep 100% of the revenue for the first few years. Plus developing an app is apparently easier with HMS core. So...
I like how you say it's dangerous to rely on Google when the reason this phone doesn't have play services is because of the very thing you're fearing from Google 😂
