If I had an EV I would’ve been tempted to go for it and just drive slow the whole time to increase range but I would have bad anxiety the whole time lol
I was showing a range of 80 miles and the trip was 70 miles and it was too close a gap. If I had 90 miles range I would have taken it. It was definitely a great offer especially since it was taking me to SFO.
Uber has a way so you can connect your ev so you only get trip requests based on your battery however some ev vehicles wont be able to connect and others can i have mine connected
I don't think my car has that feature with Uber. Either way my range show on the dash isn't accurate when driving on mostly highway. My car might get 20 fewer highway miles than what's shown.

I made it to sfo after taking a few shorter trips. But those trips. Definitely more prudent to cancel with such a shorter ev range.

Sup Randy, I'm trying to hustle. Sometimes when SF is crazy with traffic I would try to work outside the city like San Jose, Palo alto also
I have Prius and get 600 miles range and it takes less than 2 minutes to refuel.

take the trip. call and ask rider if they can wait at the super charger for seven minutes
