DETAILS:
An NCPD officer stopped a car with 3 males inside for a traffic violation.
The vehicle stopped in the street and a male got out and ran away. That male was seen holding on to the waistband of his pants. Officers poured into the area to set up a perimeter. The two other males were taken out of the car without incident.
A resident from 1st St & E Ave called the Police to report a suspicious male was hiding behind a truck on the side of their home. The officers ordered the suspect to surrender at gunpoint and took the male into custody. A handgun was found hidden under a traffic cone. No one was injured.
Kids should be taught in Elementary School how dangerous it is to be on the Criminal end of a Code 33
