As someone who discovered ORT 10 years ago when i was just randomly reading article in TM wiki i'm really happy to finally have clear visual of what ORT look like.

ORT's also never mentioned by name or directly confirmed to exist in NOTES, but there is a subtle hint as to his presence. In NOTES, Gun God states there are 8 TYPES currently on Earth, but throughout the course of the story and extra lore section in the back, only 7 are actually revealed.

Zelretch said that "It's too early to face that thing. Mankind is not ready." Upon reading this spoiled info. It's clear to us that ORT is severely weakened by Camatotz. The bat god spend a millennium in battling against ORT. He was immortal as the previous humanity sacrificed their lives to forsake themselves and made the Camatotz their last hope. Countless times they fight but neither were close in ending the battle. But a chance happen when the bat god literally ripped out the core or heart of his foe. It didn't die, just shut down and hibernation mode for the time being. Even though it lost a portion of its capabilities, it still an Ex-class planet destroyer. Ultimate Ones are just insane beings.
i have an arachnophobia, but to me the more it resembles a real life spider the more it makes me afraid, so creatures like ORT or some other spider monster that has been modified/exaggerated is less scary for me

@@stardust8797 It's not even enough. It's specifically 2 guys, one with a big sword, and another with a gun. Also I guess Six True Magic wielders in the beginning, but they died taking down 1.
The fact that this is not only an already weaker version (it's a subspecies of the original Ort's actual species) AND it's further weakened by lacking its original core makes this thing ungodly scary and only amplifies how powerful the actual Ort is
It is THE Ort we know from PHH that waits for the promised time, the reason it's weak is because of batgod doing the hard work battling larval Ort upon arrival. Ort then later became a subspecies because Ort ate the tree, which gave it a power boost for Ort but it's not enough as the tree is weaker than Ort's core. So Ort have to travel to retrieve its core to return to its original form we know.

A *lot* of the shit Nasu does is heavily influenced by the game, actually.
That probably would be overkill to ORT...I mean this version of OST isn't alienated anymore right as it is somehow related to the Earth. Making one of it's feature to be exploited by MEoDP.
