Here is one of the first tracks you hear in Symphonic Rain - one that primarily plays when Chris reads Arie's letters! It's one of the few tracks in the game that doesn't have a vocal song variant.
One interesting thing about Symphonic Rain's music is that the tracks all have an ending - they don't loop seamlessly like a lot of background music in video games does. This piece is in D minor, but ends on the parallel major chord of F. Like some things in the game... despite all the sadness, there's a positive ending :')

played the original god knows how many years ago, then bought and just finished the og collectors edition again recently, easily my fav vn of all time, and this track specifically never left my mind since the first playthrough.
