    Cultures were mixing a lot through ages in Lithuania. Besides, every country has similar dishes that neighbours have. No fights, this restaurant represents eastern Europe more or less anyway :). No matter you are polish or lithuanian, we all have things to be proud of.

    Definitely one of the best video on this channel. It's so out of the ordinary that Lithuanian food! Looks utterly delicious with that cabbage and meat.

      MistaGify it's delicious 😋 You should try Nr 1 Lithuanian dish called Cepelinai. Minced potato dumplings. Yummy 😋

    My family was from Czechoslovakia and had the same dish and it is good! Let's all come together and celebrate our stuffed cabbage heritage. Eh, that sounded better in my head

    VYTAUTAS, DIDYSIS KUNIGAIKSHTIS - Vytautas, Grand Duke of Lithuania was our most famous Duke - warrior. He conquered Poland, for a while Poland was under our domain. This is in honor to him as I saw them flash his portrait.

    In Lithuania you should definitely try baked bread with hot cheese. This is their visit card, I don't know why Grand Duke don't do this

    Myself Lithuanian, Irish and Mexican. My husband is Mexican so our kids are more Hispanic than white. Gotta keep up with my European roots! 🇱🇹 🇱🇹 🇱🇹

    I loved everything there but they did not use real sour cream. Dont know if thats how they always do it but for me that was a big problem. Thinking this would still be a great stop after the Bristol Renaissance Faire.

    This used to be a very good restaurant, but their portion has shrunk considerably and price has gone up quite a bit.

    Sveikučiai visi.Esu tikras lietuvis ir noriu parašyti čia,kad balandėliai ir bulviniai blynai yra valgomi atskirai...Bulviniai blynai valgomi su atvėsintos varškės padažu,pagardintu svogūnų laiškais .(beje varškės padaže turi būti smulkintas-tarkuotas česnakas).Na o balandėliai valgomi su atskirai virtomis bulvėmis,pagardintomis krapais.Ir jie būna raudonam arba baltam padaže.Kaip ir viskas :)

      Mr. Putler Gollum Grand Dukes didn't eat potatoes pork and so on? Lol so what do you believe they ate? Peasants never ate meals prepared like this, They ate grains or Vegetables or cheap meats prepared in very simple manners.

      If you have McDonalds in Lithuania you call burgers Lithuanian food as well? I would say that this more middle/eastern european than only lithuanian. Especialy if restaurant serve polish food as well what you can see on restaurant branding. I lived in Lithuania and you have some great oryginal meals like pigs ears or cheburakai but sorry: stuffed cabbage and potato pancakes are as much lithuanian as tomatoes are italian.

      Cabbage rolls certainly don't belong to only one countrie =DDD It is popular dish in lithuanian so you surely can call it lithuanian food.

      kijbij The Pancakes are typical to Lithuania as they are to all other surrounding cultures, Even Belarusians have this dish, Is it automatically theirs? These are all shared dishes, They were common throughout the entire region, There are other popular Lithuanian dishes that can even be found in Poland, Such as Chlodnik Litewski (Saltibarsciai).
