But anyways, I'm proud of Asian. She held her own every step of the way when I know she was hurt after already having some heavy things happen in her life in front of all of us. I think what really stirs this stuff up and gets people heated are the comments from other people on the internet watching. JT should've never inserted herself but you can tell she already had problems with Asian because she's a stronger rapper, the City Girls get a bad rap for... rap lol, and the world/twitter/the internet is always talking about it in front of all of them. She was definitely already mad, and she let comments and things make her feel like her problem with Asian was justified when it was plainly not. Asian can say she writes her raps.... and she can call herself pretty, just like JT can big herself up and know she has the success that she has. After JT came for her though, yeah Asian might have been a little petty with the pretty comment, who knows, but she's still allowed because you came for her in the first place, and I do believe JT has felt a way for a long time and was likely the reason for Asian not being on songs with the City Girls as it is. Maybe she didn't want Asian's verses being directly compared with hers and Resha's, or she really felt like Asian was subbing with the writing comment and took it that seriously, but she was definitely doing that stuff, so Asian has a right to feel ways about this whole thing.
As for Megan, if she was really trying to stay out of the mess, the heart eyes were unnecessary, and she should know by now that it's a tricky game with the internet and business. She obviously doesn't want to lose the City Girls as an industry tie and knows they feel a way about Asian, but she still could've firmly placed herself out of the mess by clearing Asian in the first place. Then again, they were already likely having issues about this exact thing, just behind the scenes, since Asian and the City Girls already had problems. That is most likely why she was taken off that version of the record with plans for her to be on a remix instead. It allows the City Girls to get their way as far as not being on a track with Asian, but ideally gives Asian a spot too. Asian prob didn't buy that though and would've rather Megan deaded that stuff by seeing to it that Asian wouldn't be booted off a track by the City Girls request yet again, but who knows who really has the deciding power at the end of the day. I just know that Megan seems like the type where lowkey anything might go for her career to thrive, or at least she's starting to look like it, while acting like she's just trying to stay out of drama at the same time. Like business is just business when she knows these people have issues. Reminds me of her doing WAP months after Hot Girl Summer. Yeah you can do business with both sides but at some point it's gonna look like you're fake by pretending to not be aware that people have issues with each other so you can benefit from both.
I get her not wanting to speak on stuff on some Beyonce ish, but she has to realize that even that is a decision too, and she can and will alienate people who are genuinely there for her if she can't say anything to defend her own friends but can go out of her way to show love to someone who openly attacked them unnecessarily and likely has had an issue with them for a long time. I'm talking a lot about this but it's cause I just got caught up and legit didn't know all this was going on. It made me sad to hear about too, but I can at least say I'm very proud of how Asian handled it. Don't let anybody treat you like that and speak your mind because the fans are gonna talk anyways. Might as well give them something of truth and substance to speak about instead of letting things go crazy for no real reason. I hope Asian has a good 2021 because she really deserves it after the stuff she's been going through.
