@@davemiller638 yes, its in guangxi, but the controlled territory is also guangdong province. my complaint is that theyre called the “guangxi CLIQUE” while yunnan, shanxi, and sinkiang are just referred to by the names of their provinces.
Another exploit I enjoy as Japan is that any Neutral nation in the world can join the Chinese United Front if you declare on them. I normally declare on Siam and Tibet for the extra territory, but you can take it as far as Greece, Portugal, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. I think Spain won't join the faction though, and of course the American countries are protected. And of course Nationalist China would be the only major.
I wish paradox would do a little rework for some of the research stuff, especially in the case of minor nations that have nothing researched to start with. Why does researching light mg 1 for planes need to be done? Couldn't it be counted in with infantry 1? Or for AA, couldn't that unlock cannons for planes too maybe? Engine for tanks and planes? Just an idea to make it less time consuming for those 3-4 slot nations
@Milesofgaming the game needs one or two big patches, just doing the tidying up for all the older focus trees and minor nations, it would massively increase the quality of life for the game to get a bunch of old tech and focus tree updates for these countries that have been left by the wayside

Is it just me or is it impossible to win these border conflicts? I've tried this multiple times, followed each step, tried my own way, and I can NEVER win a border conflict.
Unfortunately the game cheats a ton with these. If your divisions have a low reinforce rate it's likely that they won't get into the combat in time and thus lose the conflict. Meanwhile, the AI is immune to this problem as they will not lose even if none of their divisions got there in time. This debuff to you and buff to the AI means you lose a lot.

If you think about it, this is incredibly dark. A warlord state has allied itself with Japan. We all know what the Japanese did to the civilian population of Chien Kai-shek's Nationalist China. An allied Chinese state would probably not suffer the same fate as to not have them turn on Japan. Meaning swarms of Chinese civilians would be fleeing from the Japanese invasion into this warlord state, boosting it's manpower and workforce which it uses to advance the war effort exponentially. That is a diabolical strategy.
Sadly, even collaborationist regimes suffered from Japanese war crimes. A lot of inhumane expérimentations went on there, including times when Japan tested chemical weapons on the civilian populations in their own collaborationist regimes, such as Manchukuo.
@@walnzell9328 Also another really unfortunate part is that a nation like this would not survive long given that Japan winning is impossible on the long term and their collapse is inevitable. Eventually the Soviets will come in and the Americans will elevate someone to represent their interests. However, it is not always bleak. Field Marshall Plaek of Siam did lose most of his gains from the Japanese collaboration, but he survived and even became the ruler of Siam during the Cold War due to the US backing him against communist. If you think about it, Plaek played it exactly as you describe and he has indeed won.
In the peace conference it may be saying that Japan wants to take those states, but if you actually check what they tried to enforce, it should say they wanted to give the states to you, as you’re in their faction and they will try to give you your core states.
My favorite China Warlord. I have a tip for ya, flip to fascist true a civil war/ exploit. You need to spent an extra 50 pp for support to gain an extra providence in the civil war. They high command boost is useless you keep your starting general anyway. And the weapon steal also not necessary. You only need one civil support boost, to bring your stability down to start the civil war, save up 67 pp (needed 75). And start the civil war, using the know mechanics/cheat to win. Before they can spam one unit you'll have won the civil war. And by doing so, you'll lose all your national spirits. That's how you can get rid of those two horrible spirits the warlords have and still go true the Opposition focus path. You can do this quick without wasting focuses. You'll lose your - pp starting spirits and gain the small positive once's from the warlord focus, and true your spirit of the army you'll gain pp now. I even do this for Sinkiang, just so I can get the fascist spirit of the army to gain political power, and lose those two horrendous national spirits. Great video, again m8 love watching them. 🤩 ps: yes supply is horrendis in China, anticipate by building 3 supply depots one in Guangxi where your supply is red, one against the Yunnan border, and one in Guangdong, connect them with rail and use the supply depot building booster bye 300% to build 3. Aso increase your infrastructure in al stated to minimal 6. Big investment but soooo worth it.
Since you took their land with border wars, you reduced their total victory points and thereby increased the % of the remaining points that are in the tibetan mountains. You can ruin your barbarosa by making puppets in the soviets for the same reason. You could be better off border warring for the mountains if anything
It's not you can be fascist and be in the allies. However you have any world tension they'll repeat boot you and then invite you. OVER AND OVER AND OVER
If you want to take Japan, its better to make a puppet because Japan has a focus that makes annexing their core territory very expensive. So if you just puppet them you might be able to get all of Japan instead of splitting it with the allies, and then you can just integrate them later

Yeah I’m confused why he went dispersed and then changed the production methods. Other channels have done videos looking at the numbers. Assuming normal growth numbers without extra modifiers like mios, for 15 months dispersed is outright better. It takes another 7 months for concentrated to overtake and then out produce. So if you’re changing your production methods more often than every 2 years, dispersed is better. Also applies if you’re gaining a large number of factories since they affect efficiency.

Mass assault right path gives manpower and reinforce rate. Right path gives reinforce rate and supply reduction. Seeing as I'm China manpower is useless to me
Ironically, over the past 2 weeks i became obsessed with guanxi and going fascist too. Dozens of games. Doing different war directions, factions, builds, focus order paths, game settings (making everybody monarchic was very spicy). I built an army of 24 million men and marched it from siankang through Spain in two different wars vs two alliances with Japan holding the seas for me. I made some interesting discoveries with support groups and special forces. Like 1500 soft attack divs with 22 width mountaineers. The whole nationlist china tree is garbage. Its hilariously weak. You have to double up eventually on overabundant redundance of consumer goods focuses going back and forth for no reason, that have needed actions locked behind them, wasting 2 years of focuses.

Mass assault is quite good at manipulating reinforce rate = more damage dealt with extra steps (you use more width than enemy). Dispersed support is a fake option though...even with ~4-5 line arty in divisions, integrated is almost strictly better. If only dispersed support counted for SPG, it might make it (and SPG) something other than a false choice :/. Consumer goods are capped now, you can't get to 0% any longer.

That feature is usually for like one state so the ai doesn't take it from you, he got all of china for barely participating
Its not working as intended. Japan does 99% of the work gets 0% in the peace conference. It never used to be like that

It’s not just you. I’ve been following this step by step but the nationalists smash me in the border conflicts.
