MQ - MR Triton and Pajero Sport - Pacemaker King Brown 3" DPF Back Exhaust System

What to expect if you fit a Pacemaker King Brown 3" DPF back exhaust system to an MQ/MR Triton or Pajero Sport.
We've tested this super high-quality DPF back exhaust system on the Triton and it makes a worthwhile difference and sounds better, without being intrusive. The blanket idea that fitting a larger exhaust to a vehicle fitted with a DPF is pointless, is not correct, and is actually vehicle make and model dependent. Not all DPFs are the same.

If you're doing a lot of towing or off-roading, then fitting one of these 3" DPF back powder-coated stainless steel exhaust systems to you Triton or Pajero Sport is worth it for the reduced exhaust gas temperatures alone.

will putting this exhaust on increase in air intake through the snorkel?

No. It will only increase the exhaust gas flowing out of the car.

​@ridgey didge not strictly accurate. It reduces back pressure which means the engine has to work slightly less hard to pump the air out the exhaust.
That is to say, it improves airflow but doesn't necessarily increase airflow.
It can't increase outflow without a commensurate increase in inflow.. where does the extra air come from?
