This might be a premium idea for the USSR tech tree, the Cuban BMP-1 as a casemate TD armed with a 100mm gun. I believe it's the same 100mm gun that the T-54 & T-55 used.

true but its hard to balance he because some big he slingers would get completly useless if they would change the overpressure mechanic... i remember times when overpressure was not a thing and hull break was in game instead and he was pretty useless these days... imo overpressure is a good mechanic but if gaijin continues to implement big guns with he players will only play these big guns because you can 1 shot most enemies no matter where you hit them
irl, a 152 mm he would destroy any tank from a direct hit to any part of the tank that is only one layer of metal. There have been tests done and even shooting turrets with composite armor completely rips the turret off the turret ring and moves it 3+ inches.
Except in real life I suspect you don't see artillery being deployed on the front lines, rolling around like they own the hood, turn a corner and pop one into a tank that just so happened to be rolling all by himself, no infantry, nothing. I don't care how many things do what IRL. This is far from RL. We're talking gameplay balance and at high tier it's particularly garbage and big HE slingers like the 292 really don't help.

Since its easy to deal with. The reload is easy to exploit and from my experience fighting them they explode more than normal T-series tanks. The cupola/roof is easier to exploit as its larger (so you can pick off crew if its just showing its roof), its breech is larger than other T-series making it easy to breech etc.
Only times I ever struggled with HE was on really long range maps. And that’s just because of the air time of the shell. On urban maps it’s incredibly busted using HE
You should do a video on the m7298 CEV it’s not a meta tank by any means but I love it I only use it like a giant shotgun on a tank hull if you stay within about 450 meters you can one shot just about anything and it gets a lot of downtiers plus I mean it’s 22 kg of explosives it can one shot a king tiger with a track shot I know because I do it all the time

Nah not even. Yes it has the hull of an 11.0 but without thermals and a very slow reload that cannot be improved it is fine at 10.0. It has the same weak spots as every Russian mbt and no era and slow turret traverse. If you can’t kill it it’s a skill issue on your part.

Yeah I’ve been using this tank and playing against it… the players right now are REALLY bad. But the vehicle itself is very strong for 10.0. It belongs at 10.3-10.7 imo.
I think it'll be fine at 10.3. My experience fighting it in various nations of 10.0-11.0 its so easy to deal with. Especially since the cupola is larger than the other T-series tanks so its easy for me to pick off crew if theyre only showing their roofs.

It’s ok I guess. It’s not a 10 br tank. The pen & damage its hit & miss. @ 10 br it needs a hmg & thermals… it’s far to handicapped at 10 when it mostly faces against 10.3 - 11 br…. Because of the lack of armour & reload it’s pretty crap at brawls especially if there’s more then one tank…

Counter in the M1A1 and IPM1, been getting a lot of down tiers to 10.0.
It’s also vulnerable to the tow 2B and pretty easy to take down with the hyrda rockets on the LAV

152mm artillery is overpowered in real life too.

10 sec reload, worse than 10.3 soviet armor, the worst top tier gun handling, only good thing about this tank is its gun and ammo

i just bring it to top tier, usually get rid of the obj spam and with the dart and he it works wonders aswel so it doesnt really matter
