Ingredients
600 gms. lasode, boiled 3 tbs. mustard seed
1½ tbs. oil ⅙ tsp. turmeric powder
Piece of red chilli ¼ tsp. mustard seeds
Few curry leaves salt to taste
Method
Boil lasode in water and strain. Grind mustard powder, adding little water at a time to make a paste. Add salt and water and transfer to glass or porcelain bowl. Add the lasode and set aside for 2 days. Heat oil in a wok, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and turmeric powder and season the mix. Store in a glass or porcelain jar.

the lasode can be eaten as such. the liquid is eaten either with rice or can taken like soup. since it is fermented aids digestion

LASODE is eaten like pickle. the kanji can be eaten mixed with rice
