- In Amboise, Loire Valley, the excitement is palpable among locals and visitors alike: After 3 years of intense restoration efforts involving over 50 skilled craftsmen and workers and a variety of traditional trades, the 15th century Chapelle Saint Hubert has been brought back to her former glory.
Follow Véro as she takes you around the grounds of the mighty Château royal d'Amboise and inside the chapel and meet one of Amboise's most famous resident: Leonardo da Vinci.

Thanks for the tour. When I was there last September the restoration work was in progress and we heard the stone masons at work. How lovely to see it reopened!

Véro, I just re-watched your beautiful Amboise video. Within the chapel, where Rembrandt is buried, there are fleur de lit tiles all around. It appears to me the fleur de lit tiles are upside down. Am I correct? Can you explain this. Merci.
