Wow! This story has been so uplifting and encouraging. I am in a similar situation right now. Thanks for sharing your story it has given me hope for the future
came across this while struggling through writer's block for Western's supplemental and oh my am I so motivated. I've definitely learned so much about the intangibles that Western offers. Thanks Viv and Michael!!
@@Joycethedentist I was definitely thinking about it! OR perhaps converting some of these videos into podcasts. Perhaps in third year when we have more time :)
Hello! Unfortunately, I dont give out my DAT anymore. I had a bad run in with giving that out once so I thought it's just better not to. I hope you understand.
@@samskidaddle5699 I want to know about your journey, what changed after each application, what you think made the biggest impact on your application, I just have so many questions.
Hey bro can you pass this on to western u dental students. While waiting for your professor to review your work with a patient, don’t leave patients laying down with bite blocks in. Professors can take a while doing their rounds. This is extremely uncomfortable and bad chairside manner. Check in with your patient and update them. This is a frequent complaint I had from western clinic patients.
Agreed! But there are options for paying it all off! I’m planning on going back home to Alaska and practicing in rural areas after I’m finished with dental school :)
As someone who went through a very similar situation, this motivates me so much to keep going and keep pursuing dentistry.
I'm so glad we're inspiring future dentists! Keep working hard and we'll all be dentists someday! You can do it!
