Riverdale is an American teen drama television series based on the characters by Archie Comics. It was ordered to series at The CW in May 2016, and the 13-episode first season premiered on January 26, 2017, and concluded on May 11, 2017. It was adapted for television by Archie Comics' chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and executive produced by Greg Berlanti. On March 7, 2017, The CW renewed the series for a second season.
The show features an ensemble cast based on the characters of Archie Comics, with KJ Apa in the role of Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, his next door neighbor who also happens to be crushing on him, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, his new love interest that just strolled into town and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, his ex-best friend and the narrator of the show. The show also features Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, the lead singer of the Pussycats, and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, the twin sister of Jason Blossom, who is at the center of the series' mystery. Other characters in the show include Fred Andrews, Alice Cooper and Hermione Lodge, the parents of Archie, Betty, and Veronica respectively.

his charm is really coming through here. there should be more KJ solo interviews. I love the KJ-Cole interviews and their dynamic together, but Cole tends to monopolize the interview session and KJ couldn't get a word in. so some interviews where they solo like this one tends to be refreshing too.

Usually the slow burning ships are end game, idk if you've seen Gilmore Girls but I love how that played out... Idk why but I have a thing for slow burning ships because it makes it when it really happens so passionate and beautiful

gtfo all of y'all who are like "BARCHIE IS ENDGAME!1!1!1!1" he rejected her like, 3 times lmao. PLUS, Bughead and Varchie are happily together and have a huge fan base. Plus, Lili said in an interview there's going to be FRIEND Barchie, like friend Beronica and Jarchie.
Zoë Lopez no no no he not reject her he said he wasn't good enough for her and that she was perfect and there was also an episode where he tells her she's okay with him and Veronica being together but then starts to say quote there was a little part of me that thought and Betty interrupts him. Also at the end he looks at her all she hugs Jughead and even Veronica ask him if she likes her and there's also been an other occasions where he's been looking at them while they've been hugging or talking together so there's definitely going to be a barchie in season 2 because also Jughead it will be in to the South Side he's going to turn a little bit bad so I think she's going to be a little backed off by that.
