I think rates are moving up because a lot of companies are going bankrupt.
That's one factor yes!
@@Nihil2005 buy a new truck, that will help a lot
@@gregmurray3038 - Ronen has said it many times, the newer trucks are a throw away trucks after 7 years. That said, buy a used 5 year old truck from Ronen with 3 year financing…. 🤦🏻♂️
I agree. Let’s competition means more business for those who aren’t bankrupt
NE is for the locals. I live in PA. Pittsburgh steel holla. Load coils $3800 to WI next day delivery.
That would make a lot of sense!
It’s funny the northeast has the worse rates but cost the most to operate ur equipment
How do people even survive?
@@NorthAmerican-Trucking-News - if your paid $1.74/mile to get out of NE (per Ronen). I’d be singing hallelujah every time I am in NE.
Always really relevant information here! 👍😃
We try our best!
Thanks for the info Ronen!!
Thanks for watching!
Ronen its lazy that you choose the wrong equipment when highlighting dry van/ reefer. Youre way to good for this mistake.
What are you making reference to?
@@NorthAmerican-Trucking-News The box truck flatbed
Did you hear the news about Canada cartage.... In particular mel hall in London? 37 drivers laid off next Tuesday. They lost 50% of the LCBO account. No word as to whether any of the other accounts at the other distribution centers were affected. Apparently Day and Ross picked up the account.
Do you have an article or two on this?
Maximus Logistics out of Lafayette Indiana just filed for bankruptcy. They laid off over fifty drivers three months ago. Kept about a dozen doing local work.
Another one? Wow
Hey I’m a new authority, I’ve been finding it difficult to book loads. What would you suggest new authorities do in this situation?
Carrot 🥕 on a stick rates, so you hang in there for a few more years, gold rush is over and not coming back, at least for a while.
What's your take on expected timelines for that market correction?

@@NorthAmerican-Trucking-News July, it's gonna get hot
Do you dump trailer rates
This giy contradicts him self constantly.
I noticed it too
100%
How so? We are interested in hearing your feedback
I don’t agree with the comment. He’s putting out constant good information. What are you adding to the industry?
Ocourse the northeast, the most companies driver are out there. All corporations keep it low as they can. Always
Sorry i couldnt sign up for your join here setup ronen. Would not take my password different ways
May be an issue specific to the UA-cam platform itself... we'll look into it from our end still, however
How can I do research on the tanker market?
Excellent question! DAT doesn't provide that information, however, so I'm unsure of where to direct you at this time.
Clear numbers i guess, without the music under it..😕
We apologize for any inconveniences causes
Are these rates pre or post broker fees?
These are averages of what's on the DAT platform
These Ronen’s rate are bogus and nobody’s averaging these rates.
If these rates had any truth to it, I dare him to post another dishonest “load booking” video to prove these rates are indeed what you might randomly book.
Please note, last time Ronen did a video showing himself doing a dishonest load booking video, that was over the extended Memorial Day weekend. You never see those rates on any other weekend.
If Ronen did do another load booking video, that would be another dishonest BS shenanigan over the Independence Day week.
Ronen can no longer be trusted to put out any real and truthful video. I am seeing loads being posted for less than $1/mile going over 1500 miles on regular basis.
Just to address a few things:
Firstly, these rates are not calculated by us here at ET. These rates are provided by the DAT platform that runs its own metrics and statistics. Any incorrect rates and representations would be solely liable by the company.
Secondly, we do express, in many of our videos discussing market updates, that these rates don't factor in deadhead miles among other things so the averages WILL be lower.
Thirdly, a rate average doesn't mean EVERYONE averages roughly that amount. It means that some people are earning really high and some people are earning really low. So, if you are not making that average, you are probably in the category that is earning low.
And lastly, yes, we have seen $1 loads before and have made comments on them. We share a lot of our successful load bookings, but it would be unwise to even broach a conversation with a broker or shipper that is offering a load for $1 or less because that's simply unrunable. The loads are there, we just don't run them.
@@NorthAmerican-Trucking-News - if you are just regurgitating whatever DAT says without demonstrating that you have confirmed those freight rates with rigor, then you are not adding any value and people have no reason to watch or listen to you.
Everybody go buy a new truck, that will help a lot
☠
It will . It will help everyone that didn’t buy a new truck😂
