Hi, everyone! One of my young female guppies gave birth to her very first brood of fry today. I did not want to stress her out so I only filmed her giving birth to one guppy. I made the footage I got into a fishy short story for you all, hope you like it!

I wish my adults were friendly. I’ve got to separate my fry until they are full juveniles to save them. I rarely see babies because they’re eaten so quickly. I fed my fish twice daily but GEEZE they are carnivores!

That is so cool how they come out and they already have fins and almost everything and they just grow! Me and my family have Discus Fish and a momma layed eggs on a branch and when they came out of the egg they were like a circle and a stick at the bottom and I couldn't even see the eyes! And it's crazy to me how Guppy fish just plop out and there ready to grow! And this is so entertaining please make more of this type of content this is what UA-cam needs more of! 💕🐠
Also, I did not know that the baby fish are called fry's. That is so cute for a baby fish I love it! Btw you inspired me to get a fish tank and put in some guppies and make it look like home ! (Heater, filter and all that stuff...) But I haven't gotten that yet, But I'm sure I'll get it soon!

To avoid that, Make sure parents are fed a lot so they won't prey on the babies.

I know they look cute but as an advice, you should put the fry in another tank or the could get eaten, at least until they turn a month and are big enough to not fit in another fishes mouth

i had a peacock-tailed fish, it was sick.. and started giving birth to 12-14 babies! her skin is rotting, she died, And i also had a guppy, she's very fat but i noticed she was pregnant, she gave birth to 7 babies, (theres more in the belly) and died.
