It is with no doubt that Pea Puffers are one of the cutest fish available today. There are 120 incredible different species (freshwater, brackish, and saltwater) to chose from. From the giant Mbu Puffers to tiny Pea Puffers- they all exhibit a puppy-dog like charm that makes them so popular in this community. Welcome Pea 1 and Pea 2, my precious new pea puffers. You got a knack for making videos. I'm sure some creeps originally followed you because of your beauty, but even without being on camera the videos were still just as good with only commentary. I think the reason why the plants were melting was because it were grown immersed this is a natural thing after a while it should grow back normal

I’m new to the whole fish thing so how come you need to paint the fish tank and why do some fish have very puffy big faces like the big orange red ones?
Painting tanks are optional, you don’t need to do it, it’s just for the background. Many fish have different shapes.

BTW, pea puffer are Indian species fish, and try to breed them if you can, because they are getting endangered already because they are mostly wild caught and shipped.
Anyway, this was just FYI.

Will they puff up like a saltwater pufferfish?
Yes, but they only do it in extremely stressful situations or for practice. It’s rare to see any pet puffer puff up. And it should be a good thing they don’t puff up.
I will never see those fish the same way ever again now that I’ve seen the thumbnail. I love it tho

Thank you for breeding them my friend, they are Indian fish and are mostly wild caught for the aquarium hobby and shipped.
Keep up the good work of breeding them, it's really important for their existence

They only puff up under stress or under extreme circumstances🙃
It can be really damaging to their overall health to even potentially killing them it is a very last resort defense mechanism
what size tank was that? and how much do you need per pea puffer? and are they fresh water?
Yes they’re freshwater. I bought one and put it in a 1 gallon tank. It seemed shy and slow at first and then ended up moving her to a 10 gallon tank and now she’s thriving much better with two other puffers as well

Hey! I don’t think you can put super glue in a fish tankkkkkk! Pea Puffers are very sensitive because they are SO SMALL! I’m not certain, but I don’t think you should use plant fertilizer either! But the set up is super cute!
