he messed up with the solo, he didn't even pull it entirely ...it's an easy solo btw, for a guitarrist like him, he could've nailed in minutes if he wanted to..I guess he is doing it on purpose to avoid being compared to dime, only explanation possible
Zakk Wylde can play all this no problem, but I keep hearing him do things wrong to the point I am annoyed. Cutting off a solo and not palm muting the break down??
yeah seriously baffling choices, I think he fucked the solo up and then forgot to cut his gate back on for the rhythm (assuming they're not just DI and midi patch changing like most regularly touring bands now, even the old guys who trash talked it have made the shift these days) because it almost sounds like he's trying to mute it but can't so weird to see someone of that caliber playing these songs like that also, choosing to randomly mute the tail of the groovy bridge riff sounds really cool out of context, but it totally kills the flowiness and smoothness of the original riff D:
