KOWLOON, HONG KONG
We continue our food exploration in Hong Kong by visiting some of the most iconic street food restaurants in the city! Hing Kee and Mak Man Kee are on our list. Hong Kong clay pot rice, sweet and sour pork, pork knuckle noodles and wonton noodles are just a few of the dishes we try.
To our surprise, we have to eat with strangers in Hong Kong! But lukily, our patrons are friendly, and we share some food with them. Hong Kong is surely culture shock, in the best way!
your vids are significantly better than 80-85% of what's available on youtube. good luck, hope you find success
Thank you so much! Actually, this is my 2nd channel. My 1st channel is based in Korea, and I have been filming for about 7 years. However, I noticed that when I posted anything unrelated to Korean food, my channel views nosedived and subscribers lost.... But I love to travel, so I thought I would make a channel where I could share my travels outside of Korea as well as post my videos about Korea without burnt in Korean subtitles (a common trend in Korean content). Anyway, I am so glad you found me, and I appreciate this comment so much. I still have a long way to improve, but I hope you stick around! Cheers!!!
That is the southern style fermented bean curd , reddish in colour, salty, funky with a mild spicy flavour... But the main character is the saltiness and the funk
@@fatdoi003 i loved it! I am all about that fermented funk.
@@EWIGAustin those fermented tofu is sold in supermarkets in glass jars... it's called 南乳 ..... one bowl of rice, 1 to 2 cubes, small tea spoon of sugar on top
@fatdoi003 amazing!! I will try to find it. Thank you!
