    Great lesson! Looks like you started using masking tape for your paintings. Did you walk away from moistening both sides of the paper?

      I should have mentioned this in the video, I tape down nocturne scenes because I don’t do a wet into wet first wash. I also tape down plein air paintings so they don’t blow away.

    This was incredibly helpful! I noticed you taped the paper down here. Did you still wet both sides, or have you stopped doing that method as much?

      I still dampen both sides unless it's a nocturne or plein air painting.

      I paint at a 35 degree angle.

    What type of paper is that, its not ripping even with tht many layers and water

      Watercolour paper probably 300gsm type
