My problem is I can’t find anyone in my area (Abilene, Tx) to help me pick out what type of soil ratio I need! I just have red clay that has little rocks everywhere and the rocks will never go away nor can you remove them. CAN ANYONE help me??

      Hi Thernora,
It sounds like you've got quite the project on your hands! It also seems like you've got two different issues.
Depending on how much you'd like to invest in the project, you could consider searching for an arena footing consultant. We've worked with a number of footing consultants in the past and they all have their own specialty. I recommend contacting one that offers a free phone conversation so you have the opportunity to spell out your situation and can determine if the consultant can meet your needs.
If you'd rather do the work yourself and you just need the information, I recommend this article (linked below) from PennState Professor Eileen E. Fabian, Ph.D. The article walks through everything that needs to be considered when choosing soil type in an arena.

Your rock problem is an entirely different cactus to tackle. The floating leveling blades on many of our units can collect small rocks into debris piles, but to fully remove rocks from your riding surface you've got to have a well constructed and tightly compacted base layer that keeps them from popping up in the first place.
I hope this information helped get you to your next steps! I wish I had a silver bullet fix for you, but this kind of arena renovation will take some time and study. Please don't be afraid to reach out if you need additional resources.
      Take care,
      - Matt at ABI
