Lol I get instinctively shuffling chips at the table, I do it too. But the fact he knew he was going to be on a call with you, and presumably he wasn’t at a poker table and he’s still shuffling chips is just so funny to me. You’re the man Bart we luv u man.
9:03 i could be wrong but i think the reason its normal to fold AJo online is bc ur supposed to 5x 3bet on the small blind. I forget what his size was but if he only 3.3x then maybe thats a defend w KJo online? Or bart might just be talking about a live thing where players probably aren’t playing optimally preflop like online where everybody has charts up
What click bait, jeez. "Caller drives Bart nuts". Bart just said "Do you have poker chips in your hand?" just a curious question and it went no further.
If im gonna have some checks in this spot, im gonna use AA and KK over QQ becuz QQ needs more protection, and im gonna favor overpairs WITH a heart over without. i don’t like checking this spot. Turn: i do NOT expect opponent to have nut flushes or completed combo draws here as i think they are strong enough to bet the flop. I DO expect some medium strength flush draws hit like K9hh that had only a backdoor straight on the turn and non-nut flush… yeah so he had the KJhh-he did a good job keeping flush draws in his range on the flop: big draw with backdoor straight and 2 overcards… and he should have bluffs like AQ with a heart, AJ with ace of hearts… even AK doesnt have to 4-bet 100% preflop… so AK with a heart…
Villian played this hand fantastically well. With the range advantage on the flop, two overs, and the draw, I’m betting like 100% of the time, but he really did a number on hero’s ability to put him on a range with the check.
Message to whoever took over video editing, thumbnails and video titles: stop it. What's next? "You won't believe what the caller's name is!" "All 3 cards on the flop were of the same suit!!!" "Next caller is not able to pronounce Bart's name!" "Bart and the caller like the same pizza toppings!"
Can someone please explain this to me: Hero has no hearts. Board shows 3 hearts to a flush. And Bart says it’s good that Hero has no hearts bc it means there are less flushes the villain can have. Thanks.
I dont understand it either lol I commented similar last video. I think he means by not having any hearts it increases the likelyhood he is bluffing with 1 heart ie Kh.. however this logic doesnt make sense to me, as not having hearts also increases the chance he has a flush which is considerably more important since that's the main thing I think villian is jamming with. I'm probably just not smart enough to understand lol
@@spenceringermanson4385 I am thinking the same as you. But I’ve been playing cash and tourney poker for 20 years so I really want to understand this. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Strange title since that was a really interesting hand Bart hardly seem to notice the chips and if there’s any sound poker players can drown out it’s chip shuffling
The sound of poker chips being messed with at the table is one of the reasons I prefer playing online, when you've got multiple players doing it it can drive you nuts.
I dont know a single person who has this issue. I can see it being annoying in headphones though when ur trying to lay attention to what someone is saying.
It's part of the addicting ambient sounds of a poker room. Chip shuffling/splashing into pots, pots being raked, flops being boarded, typical arguments etc 😆
Shuffling is not too bad. There are some people who just slam chips down on top of other chips, like a baby discovering it can make noise for the first time, tho they usually stop after a few minutes.
I find hero's question odd "If I'm folding over pairs like what am I ever calling?" You're not facing a 1/3 pot bet here you're facing a 1.5 x complete JAM. He makes it sound like having a single pair is the nuts and only a complete nit would ever fold. NO that's NOT THE SITUATION. Most people at these stakes can't make massive bluffs like this. I would say the percentage is much more rare then being dealth a premium hand preflop. If we were to make a non-poker comparison it would be like walking down an alley and 6 guys come out of nowhere with Uzis pointed at you. And you have a chance to run away into this nook and cranny and say to yourself "Hey if I don't fight back against 6 guys with Uzis when am I ever fighting back?", lol.
What was the hero's image at the table? If a TAG player, then the "pro" would know that and a check-back is feasible and lean villian more towards a flush. It's rare that a vigilant "Pro" would blast off with that line. This would be an exploitative decision.
I still like going with the philosophy that if someone bets/raises big on the river there's a high chance they have it. Definitely sucks, but better to be cautious and pick a better spot. Guy could have flopped or turned a set even and just checked behind. One pair hands by the river are hard to justify calling big bets like this unless you have a MAJOR read on the person.
I think the hero is making assumptions about the villains tendencies he cant really know unless he has a lot of history. The range hes giving villain as default doesnt really match what ive noticed most players do. He 3 bet preflop, rather large. Checking back a flush draw on flop really isnt that rare in this situation, unless the hero had been over 3 betting noticably. Heros line of wanting to check raise flop is a lot more common than villain always betting a flush draw here. Meaning villains checking a flush draw here is more common than him betting it.
This caller is funny. Bart read him right on. He’s scared, playing short stacked for this game and his ACTIONS correspond with him being scared as fuck
I think the villain wouldn't put this Nit on big pocket pair after checking flop and leading turn small, he could jam to push hero of AK,AQ if he has to bluff, the guy with QQ didnt play it like he had that
I kind of agree I think if the button has two hearts he's betting that flop So on the turn I'm not worried about a flush yet maybe if a fourth heart comes
Im checking back flop here with flush draw unless hero is 3 betting way too much, which doesnt appear to be the case as hero didnt describe his table image as such.
@@sean3533 it's more like they're making it obvious they're thinking about something. all too often, there's only 1 thing to think about (lol) which makes for an easy AF read

That wasn’t a Freudian slip, it was a whole Freudian Moonwalk 😂
