Same. After I figured out what happened after the 1st book, I stopped myself from reading the last two books.
Yeap, that is exactly what I was thinking :D No way I'm reading her book again until I'm sure nothing so severe happens. I know this probably sounds stupid, but there are other ways to make a series different and realistic than the one she chose.

It is such a crazy coincidence that they talked about how awesome a Divergent musical would be because on Tuesday for my college theatre class our assignment was to come up with a theoretical pitch for a musical using a base source (book, film, or historical figure) and I wrote mine about creating a musical based on Divergent. I really enjoyed reading the Divergent series and watching each book talk! I'm super excited to read Veronica Roth's new book and love this interview and of course this channel!

Oh my god this interview is awesome, I love Veronica Roth she is my favorite author and she is the reason why my novel happened in the first place and why I'm writing and going to school for it. I love Divergent so much!!! and I can't wait until Carve the Mark comes out. I'm so jealous that you get to talk to her, I hope I get to meet her when she comes to New York on January 17th and tell her how much of an inspiration she is to me. I'm so excited to read another book by her, she is a genius with words, yet another great video, keep them up.

I just watched an interview earlier with Veronica, and the Interviewer (not to put anybody down) didn't seem as friendly and open as you are with Veronica. I love how fast she progressively got dissapointed just in the span of the sentence "I'm really excited for the next one" Like you could visibly see her realization of "oh my gosh I'm gonna have to wait so long what will I do with my life"

I think Tris and Harry are very much the same They are both not the best socially and are kinda quiet but when they have something to say they will (harry about Voldermort when nobody believed he was back and Tris about helping her friends and sticking up for people) they also both have this strong will to prove themselves and show to the world that they are capable of doing stuf nobody thought they could. Love the interview❤❤❤

Veronica and I have such similar personality traits with how we get inspiration (although I am a Ravenclaw like you, Christine lol) and she is a great conversationalist. Can't wait to read the book!
That was a genius thing to ask the author herself about the pronunciation of the names. They're all so creative, but I would never have guessed to pronounce them that way. That's so cool the way she came up with them, too! :D
