It's incredibly hard as a ex-convict to deal with people at work and in society. In prison and in the underworld it's all about RESPECT. Out here, at work, people are just goofy, don't respect space, play too much and talk recklessly. It's crazy because I'm a two striker so I just have to take it on the chin and keep it moving. Before, we used to be like the Good Fellas. You BETTER show respect or else. Civilian life is a trip. Welcome to the real world.

I think what REALLY hurts X-Raided pride and ego is how everyone at the end always points out how he went SNY. I get it. I'm a ex-convict and I did all my time on the CDCR, mainline, level 3 yards and the SHU. I got no problem with folks going SNY as long as you are going to give up the gang life and gang talk but you CAN'T ride the fence. You need to disappear and live a quiet life.
