    Welcome back! I've missed your videos!
    I agree with your comments around accepting that large cities are always going to have their issues you have to contend with. I'm moving from NYC to Seattle next month, and after living here for over a decade it just felt like time for a change. I was already used to paying a lot for pretty much everything, so Seattle prices really didn't scare me off. My new place is brand new and SO much better than what I could ever afford in New York! I'd never be able to afford a luxury building in Manhattan, and I've never had outdoor space or an in-unit washer/dryer until now. When you live in a major city, you have to pick and choose your battles, and I think the trade-off for Seattle gets me a lot more of what I've been looking for. NYC has its issues and I know Seattle does too, so it's really about your individual comfort level. Thank you for the update and breaking it down, this was great and I think will be helpful for anyone else thinking of moving 😊

      I’m so glad to hear that you have been able to find a great option in Seattle! I think with your experience living in a major city you will find that yes you will get more for the same amount of money here in seattle vs NYC. I hope you’ll have a great move and enjoy your upcoming adventure(s) in Seattle! 🤗🎉

    thank you for these videos, i’ve lived in the south all my life, and i am trying to save up just enough funds to move across the country from Texas because i fell in love with Washington. Your videos really help me get an idea of what it could be like for someone who’s looking into getting into tech and trying to go back to college

      it’s a little difficult because i am 20 years old with no college experience nor much in terms of ownership, i am also not used to wages higher than $10 an hour and i’ve never lived in a city. Im wishing for good luck to find a job and a place to move to around february-march 2023

      It is hard moving and overwhelming moving from a smaller city to a larger one so I recommend maybe moving to a suburb of Seattle first where wage is still high, but cost of living is lower so you don't get super overwhelmed. As you become more acclimated to life in the PNW then you can start moving closer to the city gradually!

    I have so many comments/questions but I know you're busy...so let me just ask one for the time being. I used to enjoy living in "The center of it all" but nowadays, I'm seeing it as "not so great", due to the homeless and crime situations that are happening in almost every City.
    So when it comes to Seattle, whereabouts would you recommend for a single guy to live with a quick access to "the action", without having to be right the middle of it all? I'm probably thinking along the lines of more "mellow" neighborhoods...rather than necessarily another Town altogether.
    (And Maybe the answer could be in a future video....lol 😝!) Or maybe you already did one!

    • @Phamever
      @Phamever  2 роки тому +2

      That’s totally a valid concern - I would say some areas that are close but not right in the middle of it all would be Madison Valley, Central District, North Beacon Hill, Wallingford, Interbay! These areas also have their own little micro neighborhood but within minutes of the city center! 😉🤗

      Also Good to know we'll be seeing more videos. Btw, I feel you could also do videos about nutrition and skin care...because The pandemic did nothing to you, you look even younger! Anyway Keep 'em coming!👍

    Seattle is a very low value city. You will have to pay extra for the same quality of items. For example, a cheesecake factory meal in seattle will cost you at least 20-25% more than say Washington D.C. but the dining experience is worse.

    What will be the future like in Seattle? Is it on its way to become a even more major world class city? Thinking of moving there as well
    For 20-30years old looking LGBT friendly and more fast paced, which area would you recommend most?

    • @Phamever
      @Phamever  Рік тому +2

      Seattle is definitely growing by the day - it is already considered a world class city, but I would say it is not quite at the level of New York, San Fran, LA - though it is on it's way to getting there in the near future. You will have everything you need here, but if you appreciate and enjoy nature then Seattle will outperform all the top cities in America by far! Seattle is definitely one of the best places for the LBGTQ+ folks - it is fast paced for sure, but you can escape that easily and still have a relaxing chill weekend away from the city anytime!
      For the requirements you have, I would recommend Capitol Hill, First Hill, South Lake Union, Belltown, Eastlake!

    How is the gay culture in Seattle ?

    • @Phamever
      @Phamever  Рік тому +1

      It's one of the most inclusive cities for LGBTQ+ so the gay culture is naturally one of the best! Rainbow sidewalks everywhere and discrimination is nowhere to be seen - you will find community no matter what scene or tribe you identify with!

    • @Phamever
      @Phamever  2 роки тому +2

      @@464588 Nope - my business is in one of the most crime ridden areas of Downtown Seattle nowadays and I live in a gentrifying neighborhood. Frankly, when I lived in a top 3 neighborhood of Seattle - still saw issues. It's a citywide problem that resulted from the lack of police officers to handle the number of criminals that have tried to take advantage of the leniency the previous city leaders tried to implement on petty crime offenders.
