Thanks for the excellent review. The MM200 Reduced such as this one taught me that a 42mm watch is more than big enough for my 7.75-inch wrist. The SPB185 all-steel has a cool color tone while the SPB143 pewter gray is warm. Those two watches could make a great 2-watch collection so one could match their "cool" and "warm" clothing color tones with those 2 watches.
After seeing them side by side, the SKX was almost easier to read. I rewound a few times and I think it has to do with the angled chapter ring. The actual dial in the SKX is moved inward from the edges of the crystal, rather than having the bevel interfere with the view near the indices.
Very awesome. I have a seiko prospex save the ocean special edition. I love seiko brand as one of the best in the world. Especially in the watches diver i think is the best in the world. I sorry for rolex but for me seiko is the n 1 in the affidability and rapport quality price. Number 1 without doubt. Rolex is behind.
Rob great review as always! I was about to give up on this style of Seiko because they all seem to be 44mm and above. I'm also a sucker for a steel bezel....Long time Explorer II wearer here. Then I saw this video and couldn't believe when you said it was 42mm! Do you have a go to place to purchase a Seiko by chance? Also, what would be a nice black rubber strap for this one? Any idea how much I could pick up a cool rubber Seiko branded strap for?
I got this one a month ago i been lucky bazel line up running +3 seconds for one month no change no specks under crystal like super clean you should put it on oem rubber its completely different better then bracelet! I bought 2 tudor bb both have specks under crystal one with scratch on sapphire! From factory i bought omega seamaster the AR coting terrible the hands dirty! I couldn't look into the dail because it was dirty with lots tiny specks!!! So stop complaining about seiko qc 😅

This is definitely my favorite Seiko watch. I think it's really a beauty, and the size couldn't be any more perfect! Great review Rob!
I've really got to get one of these MM200s, they literally have a perfect case profile. Seiko fanboy Random Rob is the best Random Rob LOL
Except for the more expensive spring drive models, this might be the best looking Seiko I’ve seen, imo. Thanks for another great review.
Great details on the band and case so far my favorite, but I have a few more in mind and they keep getting better mod options for them now as well.

I have this model and am wearing it as I type this😊 This is an awesome well wearing watch! Great video ! Great content!
It’s a great watch but I’m not sure about the steel bezel- might have to try it in the flesh
beautiful watch
Great video !!! Thanks a lot and may I learn the code of the right side ?

A Seiko buffet!
I have one. My fav seiko !
Great watch, now give me a boring black dial with black bezel and I'm in.

I would like to see rob unscrew the backs of every watch he reviews so that we could see the insides in all its glory.
Nice one, Rob.
I need one!
Dang, I ended up getting one.
Can you persuade Clockwork to make an end link for the mm200 reduced ??
It’s in the works, gonna take awhile
@@RandomRobReviews it hasn’t left my skx in a year and before that i couldn’t stop switching straps on it. Okay cool
2:25 bumper cars!!
It looks nice but I don't think it's a $1200 nice.
Io ho comprato il thorn un omaggio a questo modello della Seiko
💟
no crown guard.
Seiko can't justify the recent price increases considering the dodgy QC and inacurrate movements.
Swatch has them beat at every price point.

Should also be in 40 mm option
A $1200 watch where the markers don't line up? What's wrong here when even a piece of junk like an Invicta can do it?
@@Sam-pn5nh still doesn't justify poor QC

You need a good pair of eyeglasses 🤓
Way too giggly bracelet for such a premium. Seikos just feel so poorly made, unacceptable IMO.
