I'm sad you skipped past the Adjusting Lock Nut assembly. BTW a caliper is not a micrometer, also buy your self a digital Mic and Caliper. "I wont worrying you all on the preload" Translation, it's to hard to film and edit it. other wise thanks for the video.
Thanks for the feedback, fully aware of the difference of a micrometer and a caliper but when you’re videoing and trying to build something and also trying to explain to yours at the same time, a lot of stuff gets lost in translation as you could imagine never been a fan of digital, went to college for machine and lathe
About 20k with the hydro steering and wilwood brake package, I’m in the middle of editing a video on the buggy reassembly and it will have the finishing touches on the axle and install
@@rosinsautofab1956 😭 didn't wanna hear that price. Guess I'll have to try and make a 60 work and just not be too wild in rocks. It's mostly gonna be a street truck but wanna build a 900-950hp 598 and have fun thrashing every now and then.
60’s are good but not with horsepower/torque, no pinion support and it strips teeth off the ring gear, I killed 3 gear sets last year with my 600hp Lsa🤦♂️

Sweet Jesus, what does that housing weigh? BEEF! Awesome video.
Let’s just say it would hurt if you dropped it on your toe😂
where did you get the inner axle seals?
Busted knuckle off-road they are made by seals-it I believe
why not run reverse cut gears
It’s a standard gear set
ok do you run reverse cut gears? or? how does that work swapping a 14 bolt to use in the front? Or do you just run it on the back side of the gear?
Same gear, yes it runs on the coast side👌
What do you have into that axle in parts? I'm buulding a 73 k10. Was thinking about doing 14 and 60 but 🤔
