Wisteria, Lily and Orchid Floristry Arrangement

- Arranging wisteria, lilies, orchids & leaves into a tall glass jar. This arrangement works great for table flowers for a wedding or function.
Things to gather:
- Tall glass cylinder or old fashioned glass spaghetti jar: amzn.to/2fzgZXa
- 5 stems white wisteria: amzn.to/2eMnVBx
- 3 stems white orchids: amzn.to/2fEoBXo
- 5 tropical leaves: amzn.to/2fEqdR8
- 2/3 stems white Casablanca lilies: amzn.to/2fmWc8L
Optional items:
- White berries
- Jute/rope for embellishing base of glass container: amzn.to/1PYc3WK
Method:
The method being demonstrated in this video is what I call a hand held design or informally gathered groupings of flowers to cascade down sides of container.
Take the leaves in your hand and form these into a collar effect or ring. Now bend or manipulate wisteria to drop down and place these amongst the leaf collar or circle.
Repeat with the white orchids. Allow them to gracefully fall or cascade down amongst the leaves.
Take the lilies and insert these to rest above that which is cascading down.
Place the berries to fill any gaps that might need filling.
Either bind all stems together using jute or rope or a cable tie.
Place down inside the glass vase.
I used water stem/protected artificial flowers which now allows me to fill vase with water for a more natural look. You could also intersperse fresh tropical leaves or foliage or perhaps a few fresh blooms if desired.
Because my design will eventually rest on a round sea-grass place mat (on top of a crisp white linen table cloth), I wrapped the bottom of the glass container with jute or rope to pull all textures together.

I needed an extra dose of flowers this week, and wow! This oldie but goodie video of yours did NOT disappoint! What a gorgeous arrangement!!! Definitely think the twine around the vase is a great idea, and it does cover all those stem ends. Funny artificial flowers always seem to have such chunky stems, yet Nature’s are so delicate! She knows something we don’t 😆
PS - Also interesting to see how your home has evolved!

Hi there!!! You do great work and have an eye for floral design. I've actually been scouring UA-cam to help me with idea for my wedding centerpieces and I'm so lost. My wedding is next November and the venue is very elegant and classy super high ceilings and big windows. It's a night ceremony and I was thinking of doing something taller on the tables but not sure? My colors are blush pink, a deep cranberry, along with neutrals and greenery. Maybe a pop of silver. If you have any suggestions for me that would be great. I would like to use fake flowers just bc I plan on putting them together beforehand. Thanks so much!!!!
