As a builder, I would love to make artistic builds and actually keep my creation to keep reusing for activation because no way I spend 5 hours on a base only to have 1 person raid it and have the base be depleted
from what I can tell, the base isn't fully retired from public play until it reaches prestige 10 so it'll be in rotation until it reaches that point. If you don't get many accolades that just means it's going to be more expensive to keep resetting it in order to get raiders so there's a good incentive to create outposts that are fun to go through.
@@gwen9939 Once its 10 I think it becomes a champion outpost, it's still in rotation, but you stop getting credit for it. .... I think, not 100% sure. But both of mine have a champion logo on them, so thats my guess.

Would love to see an alternate map style, original can be as now, requiring Harvey to have a valid to be approved. And the new could not require a path but instead needing its creator to beat the map for it to be approved. This new style can offer more rewards, and can still maintain a play style for both casual and hardcore builders/raiders. Additionally viewing maps will show either a Harvey icon or a 'dev' icon so you can know what kind of raid it will be and its additional difficulty it brings~
As much as I'm annoyed at the sort of false advertising of the social-only bases being shown off as if they were real bases, that narrator really do got an epic voice. The man's got some pipes yo.
Thats a good idea. What i personaly want is a lift or maybe a Harvey hook to ascend or descend him! I would love new cube forms too! Maybe a half cube what you can crawl under it. And harvey can crawl under too! U shape and tube shud be a nice option too.
Also these bases would be cool, but some of them literally won’t allow you to active the base since the box goblin doesn’t approve of it and the path is blocked
Would love there to be something in the future that showcases bases either handpicked by the devs or automatically generates on bases with high accolades. Base lifetime feels too short, and having a more dynamic and less linear way of keeping bases around would be fun to see. While I know the lore of the game is very "Everyone vs. each other" having more ways for the community to connect together in-game is something I'd like to see. Also, please get rid of deranking or losing any form of progression for dying. While people might be more careless, people would be more inclined to try harder bases, and it'd grant more deaths to the builder overall, so win-win for everyone. Brutal bases don't see much activity due to their typical overabundance of traps in concentrated spots, making dying easy and unappealing to people trying to rank up for one reason or another. I think overall everyone would benefit if there's no negative incentive in any capacity, given the nature of the game.
Man these bases you're showcasing are so cool, I wish the game was like this and not just a bunch of grey rooms with every trap in the game stuffed in a single room.
Yeah that’s fair but the people who just speed through builds and don’t even try to solve a puzzle and just speed through spamming shields and respawn beacons make it frustrating to have made cool bases to have people do this. I understand it is a part of the game, but it is a bit disheartening to see this happening….

I can understand people just speeding through with shields and respawns because a lot of bases just spam traps stacked upon traps in second wave to cheese at least one kill out of every raider, which makes it a little tedious, especially in longer bases.
Note: Most of the bases they're showcasing *can't* be played when normally raiding. If you pause at 3:00, that base very obviously has no valid harvester path, and thus would only be available as a social raid. Same for most of the builds they're showing off, meaning they're probably retired bases that won't earn either the builder or the raider any points, and likely will never actually be played since there are no rewards for it.
yet in order to progress, you need to play non-social maps so this accomplishes nothing. Makers make the stages for Raiders to play, yet the only stages Raiders can play that give them progress are the ones with the awful harvester requirement that effectively makes it to every single stage in the game can be completed without jumping a single time.
Great video. been playing since it came out. and I already have 95% of trophies. the only ones I am missing are the co-op ones. which I then realized I may need some help with that.
Having lots of fun with this game and just got Master rank on Steam. However there are a few points I'd appreciate the devs to address. Most importantly it would be good if they could fix the annoying crashes occuring on many Windows 11 system (mine including). Those crashing happen sometimes every 10 minutes at worst. Then I found it sad that you'd get heavily punished when dying for ranking up because you only get propper rank addition when mastering the raid at the first try. I just left after my first death because I knew that I would make much quicker rank when first trying a new raid. The rank system is not great overall and a very intense grind as well. Have some bases prestiging up and getting kills but I've never seen it make any difference in my rank... this is just some constructive feedback other than that it's a great game if it's not crashing again and again and again...
I think this game could use a mechanic where you need to complete the base yourself before submitting it publicly. Some bases are just impossible to complete, you guys should look at how king of thieves the mobile game does it
Too bad all a raider needs is a shield and your outpost is almost obsolete lol oh and a grappling hook because traps are really slow.... There also NEEDS to be an option to maybe spend more resources to CLEAR all bedrock from a purchased burial ground. Soo tedious to try and work around what's there, some of them are disasterous and I can't execute my vision. I know they want them to be unique, but you make it a chore to do that, and I would rather not put the time in, when a shield is all thats needed to destroy it. and the resources you gain from outposts are minimal. Soooo many parts and after a little bit, nothing to really spend them on. Maybe a system you can convert 1 resource for another, not a 1 for 1, maybe a 1 for 10 or something.
List of FAILS for me: 1) 2:37 - Second Wave traps NEVER activate so fast. 2) 2:54 - We don't have a Sentry Beam Trap. 3) from 2:51 to 3:02 - You can't activate Outpost with broken Havester path. 4) from 3:28 to 3:54 - I don't understand... Accolades is a Kills ratio and rating or just kill ratio?
Lol their outposts have like 10 000 capacity limit and beyond. Without the freaking harvester path now creativity would go up a notch, fun factor too... this has to be like a bit ghost runner you know lmao.
All the outposts shown were invalid. They need to allow us to make bases with alt ways to to the goal without the basic path as long as it is still beatable
I am master rank, with every achievement and everything fully unlocked and upgraded. Here's the real advice for raiders: 1. Use intel 3 boost, never play anything that is 500 million miles long or that has corrosive cubes as its most used trap 2. If there is a downward slope, its going to be bombs. Every. Single. Time. 3. 99% of bases can be beaten by just holding W key, Im not kidding. Try it. Folks dont respect crushers yet 4. You can parry enemy gun shots, bolt traps and plasma cube traps. Drop the shield and pick up the sword. 5. Do NOT sleep on consumables. Throwing down a barrier before you pick up the Genmat can save you from genmat room exploits

I wish we could actually build bases like the ones shown in this trailer, but the fact that the Harvester has to have an unbroken path really limits what you can do, so things like platforming is already out the window. I would honestly prefer if we did away with the Harvester and just made it so that a builder has to beat their own base before they can publish, that way we could build way more creative bases while keeping them beatable and would have more of a Mario Maker Situation.
Advice 5 - Observe your opponent and build a base that isn't allowed by the game rules, there is no way for HRV to walk? Who said this trailer is fine to release? Also me personally need to say that i don't like the revieve machanice in co-op, it's pretty much just one person that goes in and the other one revieving all the time. So the dungeon doesn't reset, it take that one part out of the game that makes it hard as a solo. If a solo could just walk throught the already cleared dungeon until the point of death it would be boring and easy. As a builder it is unsatisfaying to see someone try your base, die once then disconnect and come back with a friend and then do it with zero deaths. Don't say i don't like the game it's lots of fun but i think some things shouldn't be the way they are and probably are one in the way they are because of the devs trying to hold back for the casuals.
Would be nice if the outposts were actually like in this video. Instead, it's just unimaginative killboxes everywhere. Losing your outpost after 10 prestige levels is also a terrible feature.
I feel like Harvey’s tracking should allow to go over the acid traps and through holo cubes. That way you can make interesting levels with impassable corridors on second wave so you have a hidden passage filled with new angles and traps to deal with rather than something you’ve just went through.
Remove Harvey. It's needlessly limits what you can and can't do with level creation and causes all public levels to be bland. As a raider, I can run through almost every single stage by holding forward and shooting every once and a while. Every stage in the game currently can be completed without jumping a single time despite the fact that we have double jumps and grappling hooks.

Yeah, those showcased outposts very obviously have no valid paths and therefore can't actually be put into public circulation except as a social raid, which benefits nobody.
This video is literally false advertising. Builders can't make anything cool like what you see here and actually have people play them because of the STUPID HARVESTER NPC. IT UNDERCUTS THE ENTIRE POINT OF A GAME LIKE THIS.
After 24hours my map was active, I had 1 raider that didn't even left the starting point bridge , THIS GAME NEEDS MORE RAIDERS , or it's going to die , Make it free to play were you can only raid and the payed version raid+build
its really sad because nobody is actually going to learn a base by dying to it, they will just quit and find an easier base because there's no point in persevering in this game.
@@joshyost318 that's the goal of the game, I also get angry sometimes, I prefer a well balanced dungeon with ingenious traps but that's the game, on the contrary I often come across very poorly worked levels, and that's loot free, maybe they'll find a way to balance that.

You can still spend synthite to refill an outpost that can't be prestiged, or just make it social to let people play it there.
You can, you can "reset" if you don't get enough to prestige. Its the same thing except you dont get the prestige reward of increased points

Most of these bases aren’t allowed because HRV pathing lol. Example @ 3 minutes. Make the HRV able to JUMP 1,2, or even 3 squares by upgrading him?!
