THANK YOU for saying that you're happy Flower was the title track and not AEOM. it was a very smart thing to do in my opinion, people expected a hard beatdrop on the chorus for Flower because it's what you can literally expect from a BLACKPINK song, but the thing is it's a JISOO song. her vocals has been constrained into bp's style for YEARS and this album really showed the quality of her voice, it's very distinguishable and of course beautiful. She was very brave to release that anti-drop title track. I'm truly happy and satisfied with her solo :)

i think solo jisoo is jisoo Simple and beautiful, the lyrics are verse-style . according to traditional Korean style solo The four girls made it clear that each of them had their own individual differences. (You expect beat-drops from YG, don't you get bored because I think you guys have been listening for 6 years.😂😂😂 )

I absolutely agree with you. Some people expects hard beats or something, like a blackpink signature kind of concept but we're talking about Jisoo here. This is her solo, showing her own color.

I showed my non K-Pop friend 'Flower' and he is very critical of music so I was ready for him to say he didn't like it but HE LOVED IT. Couldn't stop gushing about the instrumental, how it flowed well and complimented Jisoo's voice. He loved how it sounded laid back but still had a bit of a dance beat for the chorus and he said some of the instrumental reminded him of traditional East Asian music. He listened to it more than once.
That's just the power of Jisoo 💅
This is what I think reactions are all about, i learned something new and they genuinely seem to be having fun and liking Jisoo's work, it's perfect unlike other reactors who just sit there and pretend and say nothing interesting 😅🤷♀️
But for real, the first time I heard Flower, I really got the Camilla Cabello vibe in the song. It's so simple yet so elegant and really addictive. I love it! ❤️

Yeah and That's the sound Jisoo likes. So it's a perfect tittle song.
Though the lyrics may seem like it's about a guy, I feel the 'guy' is actually all the ppl who kept jisoo on a pedestal in terms of beauty and ended it there. Ppl who say they were drawn to her visuals and that's all they want from her, all they expect from her, to just stay in this beautiful bubble (castle) & keep looking pretty. So many ppl (mostly antis) have always maintained that Jisoo brings only beauty to the table, that she's not talented. They built this 'beauty' palace & confined her there, at first luring her (or more like her reputation) in with praises then once she's in, they dictated that this is all she is worth, so just live here for the rest of your life, wearing all these dresses & jewelry (seen in her room) looking pretty and don't even think of stepping outside of this image. The ppl also positioned themselves around her in the castle (social media etc) to ensure that they keep her trapped there. She realized these ppl initially fooled her into thinking they actually love her whereas they just want her confined. Thus the shrewd looks she gives the staff in the castle. She knows they aren't there to nurture her, they are there to make sure she can't escape. But she eventually escapes leaving just a ghost of her image that they tried so hard to trap her in.

You are 100% correct. You would think All Eyes On Me is a better suited for title song as it more poppy and kpop like but Flower is very elegant and suits Jisoo better. All Eyes On Me sounds more like Blackpink's song so going in the different direction and choosing song like Flower was better choice and suited for Jisoo as she herself is very elegant and high fashion. So the music video is perfect choice.

Like your genguine reaction. Jisoo's solo is not for everyone. 'Flower' was unexpected,it's calm and pretty. The pluck and caribbean feel to it is nice. I would go with an open mind when the girls release something and i liked them. The people that don't stan Jisoo are trying to make the millions of Blinks,Sooyas and multis that love her solo to not like it simply because they don't. Jisoo loves EDM that's why she chose 'All Eyes On Me' as the bside.

Why is every reaction video on Jisoo's mv has the reactors stuttering or don't know what to comment or seems walking on eggshells while struggling to come up with words.
