On the ground, on the other hand, was first recorded months ago. It makes sense as during their World Tour which ended February of 2020, she was able to go back to her home country. She had the opportunity to perform in front of the Aussie crowd, her dream back then. But more than that, she was able to finally go back to her home, her origin, the place she used to live as Roseanne and reconnect to that old self once again. It would not be surprising if this song was written just after that.
