We DON'T KNOW how extensive the information Mueller has is.
And NO it's not about Russian hacking - not just about it, anyway.
Weren't you listening? Cohen's charges he plead guilty to were about paying off porn stars (etc) in order to maintain credulity for Trump - to avoid Trump's name being smeared before the 2016 elections were over.
And Trump DIRECTED him to do so.
So, the Mueller investigations are not JUST about the Russian hacking. If they were, we'd have heard the results by now. There's clearly A LOT more going on and I wouldn't assume your Trump buddy is in the clear just because you thought it was about the hacking.
