I taped this during bad weather and for some reason the camera went bonkers a few times and I didn't notice. I removed all those segments except one that was right in the middle of doing things but it's only like 3 seconds. I hope you enjoy the tutorial despite those few seconds.
It was such a small hiccup you left in the video! I did notice but it didn't detract at all from what you were teaching. I am enjoying these reboots of some of your older videos, especially to see what other little tidbits of information you add.
These are stunning! It would be great to see them as petal canes, I saw them a lot a while ago (basically had a a white out line with 3 stems it’s swirly white patterns in the translucent clay) would also be good to see the petals in other columns like black (like a black effect. Or red, lilac, teal.. the list goes on of colours but would amazing to see the technique. Hope you see well, 💜
Thanks, Day ... another educational and inspiring tutorial. I picked up quite a few ideas I can't wait to try out, like the bi-cone beads you made by covering a color-blended bead with lace cane (my favorite, reminds me of ocean waves/foam, perfect for summer jewelry), and the bubble cane with the smallest tint to create more depth. You're so talented and creative! I can see covering beigy/gold beads to create that old tea stained effect. Or vibrant blue to create Danish or Dutch dishware effect. So many ideas!!!
Really gorgeous effects! I’m especially grateful for your guidance on making the bicone beads so beautifully - a LOT of information. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.💝
Thanks, Day, great ideas and techniques, as always inspiring. I hope the weather settles down for you. You did a fab job of editing, I barely noticed it.
What a fabulous tutorial Day!!!! I fancy a Dirty Martini now, lol. Thank you so much for your time and energy and wonderful creativity; if wonderful people like you and others didn't do this I would be sitting staring blankly at my clay. Thank you x❤
Thank you for this tutorial. I always had a soft spot for this bracelet and now I have a starting point to make something similar. Without this tutorial I would never have thought of it. I never expected that something as simple as a bubble cane can produce so much beauty. Thank you very much Day. 😻
Thank you! Actually you as a sponsor have access to another element that went into those bracelets - check the "geometric beads" live we had a few months ago.
Oh, my. Were you working on this during the storms the other day? Some of it has issues. But, I love your work. Can't wait for more. You make this easy to follow for us newbies. Thank you.
Yes, yes I did! It was more but I managed to edit it out except for those three seconds that were just in the middle of doing things, continuity would have suffered.
