I just got the Govee Glide Hexa Pro last week and was so blown away by how cool it looks that I'm thinking of getting all Govee light products to decorate my game room. Thanks for the quality review. I may very well get this one next since it also has a ton of nice features that would go over well in my setup.
These lights are cool man I definitely recommend them. Govee lights are addictive because they really transform your gaming room / setup and creates a vibe. I think these are a good choice or the neon rope is super cool to with so much customization on designs when mounting.

Everyone seems to have a positive opinion of them from what I've gathered and your video showed off a lot of appealing features. Plus with any LED product they look better in person since the camera picks up a lot of glare, so I'm really looking forward to adding this to the wall above my PC gaming setup to react to games' music and sound effects. They're a bit pricey IMO, but when you consider the amount of work Govee put into creating their app and the endless customization it allows, I don't think they're gouging us too bad. Also they are/were doing a Black Friday themed sale so I got the music lights and 70% off the 7 piece hexagon lights. I saw you have a set on the table below your TV and thought they were nice too. Your room looks great BTW and as you pointed out, these Govee lights create a vibe. Makes your game and chill out time that much more enjoyable. Peace and keep doing what you're doing.

You mounted them upside down. That won’t work well especially for the Recording and Spectrum music modes. The Recording mode is like a spectrum analyzer. With it upside down it won’t flow correctly with the volume changes. The Spectrum mode will look like an upside down equalizer. Also Rainbow Rain is raining up. Also mounting it on a brighter wall lets the light interact more seamlessly. The reason for the short distance between bars is so the modes like Recording will actually look like an analyzer.
Hi Paul, You have some good points...However.. first off, I mounted mine upside down due to connecting the panels to the grass wall which is easier to hang on my grass wall. Govee shows on the back of the box these lights mounted horizontal. and In setup it doesn't say this is the right way and this is the wrong way unless I missed something. For spectrum & Recording music mode you are able to flip the direction in the music setting so having them mounted upside down doesn't really matter. I guess that makes sense for the short distance between connections. I wonder how many will buy for the Music function vs just another cool set of govee light on the wall. I think you can actually modify the cables that connect each light to make them longer,but only if you don't care about the warranty,good review thank you.

Yes you can. You can create a Group and add all of your govee lights to. In a group you can control all the lights to match a scene mode, color or go into music mode all together. Does that answer your question?
Do you need wifi or can they also be used via Bluetooth? Maximum distance between a pipe and another? Can they be used with the govee music sync box? Sorry for all these questions but I didn’t even find this information in the user manual
They can operate using Bluetooth only. I believe its 4 inches between each beam. Im pretty sure they can be used with the music sync box but can not confirm. I know I answered a few of these questions in the video can’t remember off the top of my head.
Good Review Mate 🔥 I wish they wouldn't have the crystal clear ends, they could've make them just like the Gover Wall Glide so you can connect them together without really noticing that they're connected...

I recommend cutting a slit the length of each bar into the grass material so u can stick them directly to the wall behind. It’ll leave u with a flush finish and also give some depth like it’s in the grass and not laying on top of the grass.
That’s a great recommendation. The grass wall covers up a door way so it’ll be impossible to do because there is no wall. I did think about cutting leaves off the grass wall to fit them in but if I ever take it down will need all new grass wall pieces.
Yes dreamview works with this set and also the regular glide lights from govee can connect to dreamview. My only disappointment is that dreamview only makes the lights solid colors and not the multiple color effects. Still pretty cool though

They stick well with double sided 3m sticky. My wall is grass and rough texture so I hung them up with fishing line to attach to my wall.

Hey. quick question. what is the length of the tube when its put together? and how you finding the product now?
I went over that in the video...Tubes are 15 inches each and 30 inches when 2 are together. I use it everyday Still love this product no complaints
