I review the HP Envy 2023 16 which I was able to save money on with a refurbished unit. Its impressive features and overall satisfactory performance make it a nice buy. However, I address a significant concern with a faulty fan, which posed a notable issue. Fortunately, I was able to perform a repair for the fan problem, which may not be easily manageable by everyone.

Can you charge this laptop using 100w typec charger?
This is a sick design , you will need external fans to maintain the cool temperature so that the fan won't over work
It is sick for sure. External fans are for sure a good idea. These gaming laptops do get hot.
hi. i just purchased this laptop. fan is always running with decent speed. is it due i9 and trx 4060.
It shouldn't run non-stop. It may be on if you are plugged in to external ac adapter? There is usually a setting to turn that off in the bios. You can also update the bios and check out this page: h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-envy-x360-15T-Fan-running-continuously-when-plugged-in/td-p/7552725
you can turn it off in the BIOS MENU
Cool man...
i bought new did not hae any issue like u showed with fan but it seems that always fan runs with some speed. how i can reduce that. i can return the product but if this is not an issue and can be adjusted in setting than plz help me.
Yes, the machine is very good. If the fan is on, it’s expected if you are doing any gaming or tasks that utilize the video card. If you aren’t doing much and it is loud you can try this (I will make a video on this eventually):
In Windows, search for and open “HP Command Center.” On the Thermal Profile tab, select the quiet mode. Let me know how it goes.
thanks for your reply mate. i will try after going back home. what is your opinion on battery timing cause led is very bright and refresh rate is high, how much it should last when u r using normal things like ms office, browsing etc.
