I love these suggestions! Keep them coming! I am actually currently trying to get Corpus Christ pieces recorded including Lauda Sion and since they are the same melody I may try to wait a little bit to record this one.
The word is written in the sheet music as "Sancti" but is pronounced by the singer here as "Sancto." Either one works fine grammatically - "holy gift of the Spirit" versus "gift of the Holy Spirit" - so I'm not sure which one is incorrect.
Wow! You’re good! It is definitely supposed to be Sancti. You should be my professional proof checker. I can only record late at night after the babies have gone to bed and I often record in one take. At that point my brain is so burnt out that mistakes are bound to creep in. You have definitely renewed my enthusiasm to try to achieve complete perfection in my work.
@@retvrnimages5263 That's awesome! Glad you are enjoying the music and I enjoy the feedback. My husband is a Latin teacher, and Grammar is his domain, but I'm the one who edits the videos, so mistakes do slip through. This helps to keep me on my game and work on my pronunciation.

@@neumesandtunes The music is gorgeous, by the way! I'm just a grammar snob is all, and my snobbery is bilingual Latin-English!

@@neumesandtunes You are the singer? What are you using to record? And what do you use for the reverb?
@@ArmenChakmakian Yes I am the singer. I am using a Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic, Logic, and Altiverb.
