Steve Bono no lanyard for the hi point as you need to be able to toss it out the window after a drive by. Haha😂 but sure I can absolutely do any of of holsters left handed

I was just curious about what the dimensions were for the holster I am in a leathers class in school and I've made a couple of holsters for revolvers but I'm getting a pmr 30 soon and I wanted to make a holster with the same style as the one you made in your video .

Yessir alot more work than one would think. This particular holster goes for 150. I do have cheaper options but due to the time of work in this particular model the price goes up.
Kevin Noll yessir your probably right. I just like people to feel like they got a fantastic deal. It’s Definitely a Ferrari of a holster at the price of a corvette.
Do you buy entire gator hides or is there a place that sells piece's? I didn't know if that was a thing because of the cites tags?
MST Outdoors I live in Florida. We hunt gators every year. I have a few sent off every year and have them tanned for use in the shop. So yes cites tags do matter for whole hides. If your looking for just a piece or two there are places that sell remnant bags. It’s a gamble though. No telling what your going to get. I’m sure if you get with someone with a hide there would be no rules against them cutting a piece off and sending you some as I’ve traded pieces of hides with folks in the past. Hope that answers your questions
That's what I figured. I guess as long as someone keeps the tag lol. I live in Florida too,closer to Daytona. Talking to buddies who gator hunt was plan B. I didn't know if it was even possible to buy bits and pieces on the market ya know. Because of the tags. Thanks again!
MST Outdoors sweet well season starts next month. Talk to your buddies and see if you can haggle a hide off them. Most folks don’t keep them. It’s a lot of work to prep one to be tanned but if you do go that route I can’t recommend. Seabring tannery enough. They do fantastic work. Just remember the bigger the gator the more it costs to have tanned. I’m running low on gator at the moment because I only got 2 hides tanned last year but I plan to re up this season. Get with me after season ends and I’ll see if I can send you a piece or two when I get some more hides back.
Man that sounds awesome. Yea most of my buddy's sell off usually. But I'm going to ask around for sure. I'll have to start small like frozen iguana falling from trees before I buy an entire gator hide 😂

I burnish all my edges. I do them last though.
@@doubleccustomleather2623 I just thought you werent because I didnt see you round the edges and then I saw you put edge kote on. I'm so used to beveling burnishing edge kote final burnish.
ooVEXXXoo I actually use fibiengs dye. I bevel it, dye it, slick it, then wax with beeswax and canvas. Best recipe I’ve tried yet. If your a leatherworker give it a try. You will never buy edge coat again!
Must have just missed it 12 hour shift man. I will try it I like edge kote just because its easy but im not afraid of some work
