I know right? And ACC has NO mods, was on an engine that was difficult for them to figure out, and was only one selection of racing, gt3. Still became as popular and the physics got to be really good. Think this guy is just view hunting. Nobody is going to care about mods at launch if the game is good, and I doubt they made 2 sim racers on 2 different engines work and now from all they learned are making a 3rd attempt that will fall flat. He is comparing incomparable things just for the sake of a "hot take"
@@DCFHazardRebornChannel I fully agree. They have made 2 good physics engines and I doubt they would start from scratch on a completely new if they weren't pretty sure that they couldn't just optimize something they already had.
He has none of any evidence, just talking BS from other games where something happened. If someone created something new, there is always a risk, but what the studio should do? According to the “smart” UA-camr nothing. They should do nothing because it can be worse. What a stupid approach.
people dont understand that racing is not the most popular sim racing activity, its a small percentage who are dedicated to improving and are competitive, this game has always been more of a sandbox. if they are smart they should make more of a beamng than an iracing if that makes any sense.
they can always open us up to new stuff, it’s really up the designers tho & what they choose. i think it would make Assetto Corsa even stronger, every other sim has good physics but they would be the same.. i hope for it
I really hope they don't fall into the "I know better than the modders" pitfall that so many games fell into not just in sim racing. All this game needs to do to have success is to provide a flexible physics engine where new modders can cut their teeth and get used to getting cars working in-game but also have it strong enough for veteran modders like VRC and HSS to create highly detailed and nuanced cars. Just create a strong backend and then step aside. The community will handle the rest.
My take, Evo will be AC + content manager and custom shaders patch, integrated into one by the actual developers. The modders will create their own little eco systems, and you'll buy packages to tailor the game to what you want to play. You want a cruising pack, to go drive on highways, with traffic, or streets they got you. You want to race GT3's, they got that too. You want to be a cop and pull over cars, they got you. Want to do need for speed underground type mod, they got you. Honestly you can re-create any driving scenario, and you have simulation physics to go with it. Making the mods paid, and part of the game eco system is a double edged sword. On the one hand buying a bunch of mods can make the game expensive, and it's too easy to end up with a subscription model. On the plus side, the financial incentive, could lead to high quality mods, because if the talented modders will be compensated for their efforts. It makes it easier for them to devote time to their creations.
i really hope it's just an evoloution of the first AC, the fact that they ditched unreal engine gives me hope. i really didn't like ACC compared to AC now with csp and everything, i would compare this modding situation to when microsoft realised their 2020 flight sim, Microsoft knew from the start that modding was a big part of their previouse game and third party Devs like PMDG Simulations made study level planes that sold for 80 dollars each and they still to this day make planes for the new sim, idk how planes differs from car manufactures when it comes to making mods and profiting off them but i would be suprised if kunos hadn't already been in contact with Race sim studios or even virtual racing car about some idea for a modding marketplace of some sort, kinda like Ms did for flight sim, also could be working with the devs behind content manager, CSP and Pure, i bet those guys even know the engine better than kunos by now😎
As a console player this is great news but i understand the apprehension for pc players. Ac is immense with mods. Yet the console verion is about 10% of what it is. Acc shortens that margin. I have to trust the company, they've done us well so far
I'm optimistic - surely they understand and account for these concerns. There have been tens of simracing titles launched since AC without the modding capability, just spreading money and effort across different studios and creating the same thing over and over again. Wouldnt make sense even just financially to launch another product like that. This has to work.
The Physics is certainly a concern. But if you were going to bet against anyone, it wouldn't be a Kunos in-house engine. ACC FFB maybe didn't hit it out the park (for me). Modding may be less of an issue, if they launch with much of the functionality that modded AC has. I don't care so much about model rips, No Hesi, etc. So long as there is a well curated and not overly monetised workshop I'll be pretty happy. But ultimately, nothing will kill AC1, it's been abandonware for years and it runs on private servers, Kunos are not going to stop selling it. There is nothing to worry about.
Is anyone rated this channel, that’s underrated? Video highlights failure without any fact, so it’s misleading and was done just to attract attention, what doesn’t deserve at all.
You have to realise these guys have been doing this shit for years they could give you a meedioka game that would still be better than a heap of other games out there at the moment 😀🙂👍
patreon modders in AC must be mad about evo.,all AC evo needs is a way to kick out players who run s into other cars in Mp.just a realistic penalty & kick them out of game .
They haven't released much vids or put out any updates have they? And the only car I see is the one advertised on Steam that looks like a civilian stock type regular car. Have they shown any race car rides? I don't want Mod Mod Mod. I'd rather buy the content from the makers myself. I've dealt with enough bootlegs.
Why did you put in the title that it could be a disaster and not that it could be fantastic? You don't know anything so why not say both and keep them on the same level? Hi I wish you can make better titles, good things for you..
Quit sending out them negative waves.

No Anti CHEAT implemented.
It will be broken for atleast for 2 yrs.

you really said a whole lotta nothing just to be negative
100% agree
Forcing a dramatic and negative video title

Ac has its own engine, acc is made in Unreal that's why it had so many early issues with Physics so they learned
just here to downvote this BS
The whole point of making their own engine is because they can take ac one physics and build on it, unlike acc with that horrible unreal engine 🤦♂
I think evo will be more towards comp racing
Idk bro I’m looking forward to a iracing style races
I was expecting they would use unreal engine like ACC
