- This engraving is on the back of a Rolex Milgauss watch, which I engraved in 2014. The back piece itself is around 24mm in diameter, and is stainless steel,
Music: Pachelbel's 'Canon in D'
The perfection with which you execute each stroke is truly inspirational. I've been a jeweler and a goldsmith for over 30 years and have always had an appreciation for fine engraving. Yours is among the best. Thank you for sharing. I am purchasing the equipment to begin engraving because I decided recently that life is too short to not try the things you aspire to do. I think you're correct. I once heard a saying... 'you know you're an Engraver if you can spend a week working on something the size of a postage stamp, and consider that normal' 😅

That is very beautiful engraving for an amazing watch! I feel the engraving design fits the watch very well; both are timeless! The only questions
are: is the integrity of the material negatively affected? Will the carved areas be more prone to rust? does the vibration negatively affect the functionality of the watch? How much did this particular design cost and how long does it take for the process? Thank you & great job!

I'm an engraver too, and want to make a question about the stippling point because you leave the steel surface directly darkened. What shape and geometry you are using for the stippling point?
