I showed my 10 year old nephew Mario Kart on 3ds. He didn't seem too impressed... until I told him to push the slider on the side. It turned 3d and his eyes LIT UP. His 'wow' was the same as ours when we first saw the console. I think the 3ds is truly unique and there will never be another console with that gimmick. Its important to keep it alive.
I loved the glass less 3D effect on the console and never played without it. Which is why Pokémon Sun and Moon let me down because it got rid of the 3D effect during battle that X and Y had.
Retro games are where it's at, I do not like the way the industry is "evolving". And no one should subscribe to services like that, make our voices known, we do not want to rent games we love. We want to own them and cherish them forever like the gems they are. Even if the price increases, I'd still buy a game if I can legit own it.
There are several fire emblem games you can pick up now before the eshop closes. Definitely my favorite game series of all time. There’s two more on the Wii U eshop as well
Great pickups! I luckily got back into collecting for my 3ds early last year and was able to get some of the more sought after games like layton vs ace attorney, dragon quest 7 & 8, and mgs 3 for so pretty good steals...just glad i did especially after looking at the prices now.

For removing the sticky gunk on the Zelda case, what I do is use the sticker itself, stick it on the gunk, and rip it off repeatedly. Just keep sticking it on there and ripping it off and it should get rid of all of it. Since the sticker isn't on the case anymore, you'll have to find a different object with a sticker on it and use that. Hope this helps!
I got into collecting DS and 3DS several years ago when prices were much lower. I still regret waiting to get SMT4A when the price was around $40 used. I picked up all the other SMT games at good prices. I figured I would pick it up at $30 but it never dropped in price...I also need to grab the fire emblem games while they are still around $40...
If you like JRPGs, then you should pick up Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology if you haven't yet already. It's very reminiscent of Chrono Trigger, has a unique battle system, and has a banger soundtrack. Last I checked the price was already pretty high, but I suspect it will only get higher as time goes on.
I started doing this 3DS game pickup when Nintendo announced they weren’t producing anymore 2DSs about a year ago. They were bundled at Walmart with a digital copy of MarioKart7 for $99. I picked up Metroid, Zelda and a few others. I had Kid Icarus for $24.99 but returned it because I just really didn’t like it at all. I’m sorta regretting giving it back because the value will increase.🥺

I started collecting physical games for the 3DS in 2019. I'm mostly done, however Tales of the Abyss is one title on my Wishlist that is still missing. It's gotten very expensive and it's not downloadable from the Canadian eShop anymore. After the 3DS and my sizeable (for me) Switch collection, I think I will be done with video games and enjoy my stash of games to play until I croak ;-) There were wonderful sales around the New Year, I hope there will be more before the August deadline.
Dope pickups! I'm basically at the tail end of my 3DS physical collection; got all the Persona/SMT games, one of every mainline Pokemon and all the Fire Emblems. Anything else would just be a bonus at this point and realistically I probably won't have time to get through all of them in the near future haha.
Don’t buy a physical copy of persona Q1; it was part of a batch of faulty 3DS cartridges along with copies of alpha sapphire and omega ruby that were sent to Europe. Most physical copies you find now will crash to the 3DS dashboard at various points of the game. You can contact Atlus for a free digital copy, but they require proof of the destruction of the physical cartridge.
@@MSUHitman I was aware of that when I purchased the game last year, and for what it's worth I've made it fairly deep into the first dungeon with no issues so I probably lucked out on that one lol (and yeah I know it can crap out at any time).
@@MSUHitman AFAIK said faulty batches get easily damaged by the act of inserting and removing the cartridge from (and to) the console. So if you have a modded 3DS/2DS, you can dump the ROM into the console's SD card which significantly reduces the risk of the cartridge going bust.
@@PikaLink91 7th Dragon 2020 I and II never released outside of Japan. But there are decent English fan translations online. I highly recommend both games (especially the first one on PSP), if you like classic turn-based JRPGs / dungeon crawlers.
I saw in another video it is not just the games but the updates too. So even if you have physical copies, it may be worth getting the updates for them too before the store shuts down. Including ones that you may not have yet but would regret if you did not.
Just fyi for anyone that needs to know. If you have a soft modded 3ds, all of the updates have been archived on archive .org just in case anyone needs to install updates in the future.
to be honest, most games run perfectly fine on v1.0 it's extremely rare for there to be a serious game breaking bug and most of them are so niche, you'd basically never run into them unless you specifically hunted for it
Nintendo 3DS is region locked, so I focused on getting as many 3DS games in my local gaming regional stores as possible before they become too hard to find since 2016. Between that to 2020, it was important to get as many games as possible before they became too hard to find.
Nice pickups! 👍 Not sure how far you’ve delved into Fire Emblem after Awakening but I’d highly recommend the Fire Emblem Gaiden remake on 3DS, “Shadows of Valentia”. It has by far the best writing and production value in the franchise.
@@joanjoestar3252 I wouldn’t call it short by any means, you can also grind for resources and experience, but it’s definitely a more streamlined experience being a remake of a Famicom game. Plus there’s no shipping or child units, but the characters all have fun personalities and are more fleshed out since it’s a smaller cast overall. I’d highly recommend it if you’ve never played it. Worst thing I can say is that some of the maps can be bland, but that’s to be expected since they’re a one to one recreation of the original maps.
Helping people put homebrew on their 3DS is probably better than telling them to panic buy physical copies, which only drives up prices of the remaining physical games on the market.

And I say this as someone that already owns almost all of the 3DS games that I want, so it has literally nothing to do with not be able to afford them and everything to do with preserving the remaining supply for others who prefer physical over digital by encouraging the latter to use homebrew so both people can get to play. Had a random longing for old game boy/DS games and just ordered a modded 3DS off eBay. Sold my 2DS XL during the pandemic for some extra money, but the news of the eShop closing pushed me back in. Can’t wait for it to come in

Hey, make sure to pick up some of the digital games on the eShop like "Parascientific Escape", "Gurumin 3D", "The Denpa Men", and of course "Clash of the Elementalists"! These games are great and they'll be gone for good when the shop closes up.
I like how they remastered Ocarina of time and Majora's mask on 3ds. I wish they remastered twilight princess or wind waker. I also wish they could remake the game boy advanced too. Also I showed my little brother, he is about like 5 going to be 6, my 3ds. I have some NES game such as The legend of Zelda and Zelda ll. He like Zelda 1 but not 2. He thought it was kinda boring. So I showed him New super Mario Bros 2 on the 3ds. And he loves that game! He constantly asks me if he can play Mario on the 3ds. The 3ds is such a unique consol.
$15 for that copy of OoT is a steal, considering the Selects print is $20. Just get a new box if you don't wanna bother getting rid of the sticker glue, or buy a sealed shovelware to swap the case. A few obvious ones here, btw. Some I never see on any lists (7th Dragon, wow!), but I'm also surprised you mentioned SMT4A but not SMT4, then went on to show SMT4 footage. They're different games and although Apocalypse improves on a lot of aspects that 4 brought to the table, 4 still has more of that classic SMT atmosphere whereas Apocalypse is a tad more juvenille. I also have to recommend Culdcept Revolt, a criminally underrated mix of Monopoly and MTG concepts. The whole Culdcept series has always been quite niche in the West, sadly, but it's worth having at the very least, considering it might be the last in the series and it's pretty good for what it is.

I bought many 3ds games since the beginning of the year, plus a dual ips 3ds. You can still get affordable new copies of most games on amazon where I live, but I also have the feeling this isn't gonna last much longer. Matty, I do hope you have a copy of Radiant Historia, if not, I think it would fit nicely into your collection.

Just subscribed and great video! I just picked up Culdecet Revolt, Kirby Robobot, and League of Legacy on 3ds. I'm adding more to my collection before the store closes too. I also picked up Alien Chaos cartridge game only...its expensive for a cib game but its not even on the eshop anymore. I recommend these games as well. Also pick up Lord of Magna Maiden in Heaven! Its a very hidden jrpg as well.
If you're worried about the 3DS game cases looking ugly, I think (?) Nintendo still sells replacement cases on their online store for like $10 for a pack of 5.
I used a wet wipe and wrapped it around my finger dipped it in a tiny bit olive oil and that’s how I got stickers off without damaging the case and usually take the cover out an put a lil bit cardboard there so it doesn’t damage it just be careful how hard you press down and it should be fine \m/
If you dislike stickers and glue residue it easily comes of with isopropyl alkohol, do remove the insert before you do because if some gets under there it can disolve away some color on that too. It also works with those silver security stickers as well, you just have to rub for a good while with a q-tip. You're welcome. As for the closing question. Yep I am buying basicly anything 3DS of reasonable quality when I see it under current market price, have been doing so for a year or two (with the exception of recent releases since they're not at the bottom of their curve.
You gotta check out the Majora's Mask 3D nodding scene. You have to hack your 3DS to run the mods, but they completely transformed the game to take the best aspects of the original and 3D versions to make the ultimate Majora's Mask experience on the 3DS. It's so great after some of Nintendo's updates actually broke some parts of the game (namely the momentum physics, and some boss fights)

In a similar vein of thinking to you, I finally bought Dragon Quest VII and VIII! Been wanting to for years and this finally convinced me. I just had to look at DQIV, V and VI prices to know it was now or never.
Our collection is vast my friend but thank you for the warning. With all of these games slipping into oblivion I hope this finally gives people pause as to what digital only media is doing to the industry. We (fiancee and I) outright refuse to buy anything digital unless it is the only way. This is where the industry is headed..a place with no past and constant remakes/remasters.
To get rid of the sticker try alcohol mix with water. So it won't damage the plastic of the box. Also do this in a place with good air flow so that the evaporating alcohol does not damage the plastic or your games. [KEEP DISCS & ORIGINAL GAMEBOY GAMES AS FAR AWAY FROM THE GAS] A cheaper way you can also try is rub it with warn water not hot just warn so it does not burn the plastic, just have in mind it will not take away 100% of the stickiness of the sticker but it is a good start.

I have a list of several digital exclusive games I’m gonna buy before the store closes. Games like these that are also physical I ain’t too worried about. I mean sure their price is gonna go up when physical becomes the only way to play them, and no I ain’t rich so that’s gonna suck, but they still EXIST, available for me whenever I do have the cash for them. I am much more worried about the digital only scene, cuz once the store closes they are effectively wiped from existence. Among these I am gonna get are Chase-Cold Case Investtigations - Forgotten Memories (by the guys who made my beloved Another Code series), Dementium Remastered, Dillon’s Rolling Western: The Last Ranger, the Parascientific Escape trilogy, Crimson Shroud, and a silly zombie game called Undead Storm Nightmare.
You've probably done it by now, but I found a little bit of olive oil is great for removing stickers. I bought a link between worlds, and I didn't notice the piece of cover in the top right corner was ripped off, until I left the store. Like you, I didn't feel like I could go back in, so now I'm looking to buy the game again from somewhere else now.
Just got my 3ds a few months ago, and have been enjoying hunting down games for it. Picked up both Bravely Default and Second Collector Editions, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, and DS Chrono Trigger recently.
With Nintendo removing their eShop soon, Piracy will be the only route. May as well get an early start on that, play it through either a hacked 3DS or an Emulator, and save the cash too.
@@thisbubblygoodness7611 desmume is the most common DS emulator on PC and the current version _is_ having bugs, but the versions from a few months ago are stable. MelonDS is a good one for Android. That's all NDS though, 3DS uses a seperate emulator named Citra (available for both PC and Android). I have no complaints with it, in fact Citra is one of the best Emulators I've ever used
@@EZOnTheEyes thats interesting to know, Android would probs be the best way to go, PC sounds difficult to play on, im assuming you'd have to use the mouse as the 'stylus' for the touch screen n i feel like that would be kinda difficult haha but for Android, wouldnt you have to jailbreak the phone?
@@thisbubblygoodness7611 nope, Android phones can install Emulation Apps directly from the playstore. If you go and search for Citra and MelonDS in them now, you'll find them. You do need kind of a strong phone for the Citra 3DS emulator, but it's worth a test. Personally, my phone hits 25-30fps, so it depends on the hardware. Definetly look up some tutorials on it! :)
I just picked up a new Nintendo 3DS XL, not so new. I did had the opportunity to buy this handheld cheap in 2015 but I was obsessed with phonesin that time period. I am glad all the games are cheap now, I just got 6 games. Smash Bros, Ocarina, DKC Returns, Mario 3D World, Mario Tennis and Mario kart 7.
Make sure to get SMT Demon Summoner Soul Hackers! SMT Strange Journey and Devil Survivor all decent too. Dont get Persona Q1 physically tho get digital. Sadly theres a defect in most physical copies where the game doesnt work after awhile. If you have Fire Emblem Fates go into one of the games and buy 3rd route Revelations bc other than Special Edition super expensive physical digital is only way to play 3rd version
Monster houses suck. I make sure I have some slumber orbs,totter orbs, stay away wands, and reviver seeds for emergencies like that. I love that there are so many places to unlock in super mystery dungeon. I'm still working on finding all of the rare items and new dungeons. The later dungeons can be a major pain though.

I did manage to snag a copy of pokemon ultra sun a couple months ago to complete the pokedex on moon. I missed out on pokemon black and white 2 on the ds as well so I'm covering everything I know I'll play. The shin megami tensei games will be a hard grab though. I bought soul Hackers one on 3ds since I know 2 is coming out soon. I'm still debating on which smt game to get next on 3ds.
Meh. If Nintendo wants to make it impossible or nearly so to buy new copies of stuff, particularly stuff that is digital only, then emulation of those titles becomes ethically acceptable. It's up to them.
I thought this video was more about buying these games immediately, now that Nintendo stopped making 3DS cartridges, in order to never open them and have them shoot up in value 10 years down the line when they become valuable for collectors. I myself have bought myself ocarina of time 3D and have never removed its seal for that reason but other than that thanks so much for making this video. I was Always against the switch ever since they announced charging consumers for online play. I've therefore been loyal to my double screened handhelds to this day. It's so refreshing to know that the 3ds has such a big following because it truly was the last hurray of Nintendo's Golden age (for me the golden age means NDS, Wii and 3DS) It's really sad how Nintendo loves to just downright strangle and kill the consoles they don't wanna support anymore. And unfortunately sooner or later the only way to preserve the great titles of the 3ds platform will be through piracy. Just like it was with the NDS
1. You can just play switch games offline, such a bad takes for your reason of not playing switch especially knowing there's a lot of good games on it. Since most platforms also do the same and pretty sure they will do the same to 3ds, psp, vita, etc. back then if the infrastructure is possible back then 2. You can't just support a platform forever, it needs cost and resource where it can possibly be put on more newer platforms, in business perspective. Idk just bad takes imo
Look in to heptane for removing sticker residue. There are awesome videos on here about it. I know it has some brand names, but I don't remember what they were. It is even safe to use on cover art, just have to let it 100% dry before putting it back in the case.
kid icarus uprising is the best game on the 3ds in my opinion. i hope you enjoy the experience and look past the wonky controls. a great story and even greater characters, such a good game.
You might as well get all the 3DS Pokémon games. One day they will be at inflated prices and Nintendo won’t have any alternatives. Look at Gen 5 prices right now

Ive only just started buying 3DS and WIIU games too properly, beforehand i only had a handful of 3DS games, I never bought Majoras mask on 3DS back in the day as i never fancied it due to the mechanics, but recently saw a youtuber play through it and fancied it, it cos almost £40 though :O Been buying WIIU as i only more recently bought one and the games are still pretty cheap - £10 - £20
I must recommend Radiant Historia (from Atlus) and Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked, and SMT Strange Journey Redux. DSO and Strange Journey are arguably the best in the series and, to me, are must plays.
Just grabbed another 2ds xl. Came with fire emblem fates, pokemon y, pokemon sun, mk7, and minecraft. Picked up metroid samus returns and plan on getting much more too!
Just use some zippo lighter fluid and a qtip to get the sticker residue off, then wipe it with som alcohol after,it works better than goo gone, leaving no residue or smell like goo gone does, it will take 30 seconds of work to get it off
If you enjoyed sun and moon I can guarantee you will love ultra sun and moon it is way way better the original sun and moon felt incomplete and ultra just did it way better

Wanted to grab SMT IV & SMT IV: Apocalypse but paying $150 for both just isn't feasible. So I picked them up digitally and paid $18 for both...
I started collecting physical games for the 3DS in 2019. I'm mostly done, however Tales of the Abyss is one title on my Wishlist that is still missing. It's gotten very expensive and it's not downloadable from the Canadian eShop anymore. After the 3DS and my sizeable (for me) Switch collection, I think I will be done with video games and enjoy my stash of games to play until I croak ;-) There were wonderful sales around the New Year, I hope there will be more before the August deadline.
Dope pickups! I'm basically at the tail end of my 3DS physical collection; got all the Persona/SMT games, one of every mainline Pokemon and all the Fire Emblems. Anything else would just be a bonus at this point and realistically I probably won't have time to get through all of them in the near future haha.
Don’t buy a physical copy of persona Q1; it was part of a batch of faulty 3DS cartridges along with copies of alpha sapphire and omega ruby that were sent to Europe.
Most physical copies you find now will crash to the 3DS dashboard at various points of the game. You can contact Atlus for a free digital copy, but they require proof of the destruction of the physical cartridge.
@@MSUHitman I was aware of that when I purchased the game last year, and for what it's worth I've made it fairly deep into the first dungeon with no issues so I probably lucked out on that one lol (and yeah I know it can crap out at any time).
@@MSUHitman AFAIK said faulty batches get easily damaged by the act of inserting and removing the cartridge from (and to) the console.
So if you have a modded 3DS/2DS, you can dump the ROM into the console's SD card which significantly reduces the risk of the cartridge going bust.

@@PikaLink91 7th Dragon 2020 I and II never released outside of Japan. But there are decent English fan translations online. I highly recommend both games (especially the first one on PSP), if you like classic turn-based JRPGs / dungeon crawlers.

I saw in another video it is not just the games but the updates too. So even if you have physical copies, it may be worth getting the updates for them too before the store shuts down. Including ones that you may not have yet but would regret if you did not.
Just fyi for anyone that needs to know. If you have a soft modded 3ds, all of the updates have been archived on archive .org just in case anyone needs to install updates in the future.
to be honest, most games run perfectly fine on v1.0
it's extremely rare for there to be a serious game breaking bug and most of them are so niche, you'd basically never run into them unless you specifically hunted for it

Nintendo 3DS is region locked, so I focused on getting as many 3DS games in my local gaming regional stores as possible before they become too hard to find since 2016.
Between that to 2020, it was important to get as many games as possible before they became too hard to find.

@@joanjoestar3252 I wouldn’t call it short by any means, you can also grind for resources and experience, but it’s definitely a more streamlined experience being a remake of a Famicom game. Plus there’s no shipping or child units, but the characters all have fun personalities and are more fleshed out since it’s a smaller cast overall. I’d highly recommend it if you’ve never played it. Worst thing I can say is that some of the maps can be bland, but that’s to be expected since they’re a one to one recreation of the original maps.

I like how they remastered Ocarina of time and Majora's mask on 3ds. I wish they remastered twilight princess or wind waker. I also wish they could remake the game boy advanced too. Also I showed my little brother, he is about like 5 going to be 6, my 3ds. I have some NES game such as The legend of Zelda and Zelda ll. He like Zelda 1 but not 2. He thought it was kinda boring. So I showed him New super Mario Bros 2 on the 3ds. And he loves that game! He constantly asks me if he can play Mario on the 3ds. The 3ds is such a unique consol.
$15 for that copy of OoT is a steal, considering the Selects print is $20. Just get a new box if you don't wanna bother getting rid of the sticker glue, or buy a sealed shovelware to swap the case.
A few obvious ones here, btw. Some I never see on any lists (7th Dragon, wow!), but I'm also surprised you mentioned SMT4A but not SMT4, then went on to show SMT4 footage. They're different games and although Apocalypse improves on a lot of aspects that 4 brought to the table, 4 still has more of that classic SMT atmosphere whereas Apocalypse is a tad more juvenille. I also have to recommend Culdcept Revolt, a criminally underrated mix of Monopoly and MTG concepts. The whole Culdcept series has always been quite niche in the West, sadly, but it's worth having at the very least, considering it might be the last in the series and it's pretty good for what it is.

You can still get affordable new copies of most games on amazon where I live, but I also have the feeling this isn't gonna last much longer. A 3ds with two IPS screens. They have wider viewing angles, better contrast and are a bit more saturated compared to the TN panels that most 3ds have.
The "New" 3DS XL has both IPS I believe. If not the main top screen one definitely does.

I also picked up Alien Chaos cartridge game only...its expensive for a cib game but its not even on the eshop anymore. I recommend these games as well. Also pick up Lord of Magna Maiden in Heaven! Its a very hidden jrpg as well.
If you're worried about the 3DS game cases looking ugly, I think (?) Nintendo still sells replacement cases on their online store for like $10 for a pack of 5.
I’ve only recently known about Seventh Dragon and that’s because the artist of Seventh Dragon is working on Soul Hackers 2, Atlus’ upcoming JRPG.
I used a wet wipe and wrapped it around my finger dipped it in a tiny bit olive oil and that’s how I got stickers off without damaging the case and usually take the cover out an put a lil bit cardboard there so it doesn’t damage it just be careful how hard you press down and it should be fine \m/
If you dislike stickers and glue residue it easily comes of with isopropyl alkohol, do remove the insert before you do because if some gets under there it can disolve away some color on that too. It also works with those silver security stickers as well, you just have to rub for a good while with a q-tip.

As for the closing question. Yep I am buying basicly anything 3DS of reasonable quality when I see it under current market price, have been doing so for a year or two (with the exception of recent releases since they're not at the bottom of their curve.
You gotta check out the Majora's Mask 3D nodding scene. You have to hack your 3DS to run the mods, but they completely transformed the game to take the best aspects of the original and 3D versions to make the ultimate Majora's Mask experience on the 3DS. It's so great after some of Nintendo's updates actually broke some parts of the game (namely the momentum physics, and some boss fights)

Our collection is vast my friend but thank you for the warning. With all of these games slipping into oblivion I hope this finally gives people pause as to what digital only media is doing to the industry. We (fiancee and I) outright refuse to buy anything digital unless it is the only way. This is where the industry is headed..a place with no past and constant remakes/remasters.

To get rid of the sticker try alcohol mix with water. So it won't damage the plastic of the box. Also do this in a place with good air flow so that the evaporating alcohol does not damage the plastic or your games. [KEEP DISCS & ORIGINAL GAMEBOY GAMES AS FAR AWAY FROM THE GAS]
A cheaper way you can also try is rub it with warn water not hot just warn so it does not burn the plastic, just have in mind it will not take away 100% of the stickiness of the sticker but it is a good start.

I have a list of several digital exclusive games I’m gonna buy before the store closes. Games like these that are also physical I ain’t too worried about. I mean sure their price is gonna go up when physical becomes the only way to play them, and no I ain’t rich so that’s gonna suck, but they still EXIST, available for me whenever I do have the cash for them. I am much more worried about the digital only scene, cuz once the store closes they are effectively wiped from existence. Among these I am gonna get are Chase-Cold Case Investtigations - Forgotten Memories (by the guys who made my beloved Another Code series), Dementium Remastered, Dillon’s Rolling Western: The Last Ranger, the Parascientific Escape trilogy, Crimson Shroud, and a silly zombie game called Undead Storm Nightmare.

You've probably done it by now, but I found a little bit of olive oil is great for removing stickers. I bought a link between worlds, and I didn't notice the piece of cover in the top right corner was ripped off, until I left the store. Like you, I didn't feel like I could go back in, so now I'm looking to buy the game again from somewhere else now.
Just got my 3ds a few months ago, and have been enjoying hunting down games for it. Picked up both Bravely Default and Second Collector Editions, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, and DS Chrono Trigger recently.
With Nintendo removing their eShop soon, Piracy will be the only route. May as well get an early start on that, play it through either a hacked 3DS or an Emulator, and save the cash too.
Nintendo is only promoting this idea and they can't complain about it because they only have themselves to blame :)

@@thisbubblygoodness7611 desmume is the most common DS emulator on PC and the current version _is_ having bugs, but the versions from a few months ago are stable. MelonDS is a good one for Android.
That's all NDS though, 3DS uses a seperate emulator named Citra (available for both PC and Android). I have no complaints with it, in fact Citra is one of the best Emulators I've ever used

@@thisbubblygoodness7611 nope, Android phones can install Emulation Apps directly from the playstore. If you go and search for Citra and MelonDS in them now, you'll find them.
You do need kind of a strong phone for the Citra 3DS emulator, but it's worth a test. Personally, my phone hits 25-30fps, so it depends on the hardware. Definetly look up some tutorials on it! :)

I just picked up a new Nintendo 3DS XL, not so new. I did had the opportunity to buy this handheld cheap in 2015 but I was obsessed with phonesin that time period. I am glad all the games are cheap now, I just got 6 games. Smash Bros, Ocarina, DKC Returns, Mario 3D World, Mario Tennis and Mario kart 7.

Make sure to get SMT Demon Summoner Soul Hackers! SMT Strange Journey and Devil Survivor all decent too. Dont get Persona Q1 physically tho get digital. Sadly theres a defect in most physical copies where the game doesnt work after awhile. If you have Fire Emblem Fates go into one of the games and buy 3rd route Revelations bc other than Special Edition super expensive physical digital is only way to play 3rd version
If you hit the Ocarina of Time case with a hair dryer for about 5 minutes you can peel off the sticker pretty easy
If you're a Capcom, Namco, or Sega fan. I recommend you pick up the 2 Project x Zone games.
I want to love that mystery dungeon but the balancing is so broken at points its nearly impossible to beat some dungeons just by being outnumbered
Monster houses suck. I make sure I have some slumber orbs,totter orbs, stay away wands, and reviver seeds for emergencies like that. I love that there are so many places to unlock in super mystery dungeon. I'm still working on finding all of the rare items and new dungeons. The later dungeons can be a major pain though.

I did manage to snag a copy of pokemon ultra sun a couple months ago to complete the pokedex on moon. I missed out on pokemon black and white 2 on the ds as well so I'm covering everything I know I'll play. The shin megami tensei games will be a hard grab though. I bought soul Hackers one on 3ds since I know 2 is coming out soon. I'm still debating on which smt game to get next on 3ds.

I thought this video was more about buying these games immediately, now that Nintendo stopped making 3DS cartridges, in order to never open them and have them shoot up in value 10 years down the line when they become valuable for collectors.

I was Always against the switch ever since they announced charging consumers for online play. I've therefore been loyal to my double screened handhelds to this day. It's so refreshing to know that the 3ds has such a big following because it truly was the last hurray of Nintendo's Golden age (for me the golden age means NDS, Wii and 3DS)
It's really sad how Nintendo loves to just downright strangle and kill the consoles they don't wanna support anymore. And unfortunately sooner or later the only way to preserve the great titles of the 3ds platform will be through piracy. Just like it was with the NDS

Look in to heptane for removing sticker residue. There are awesome videos on here about it. I know it has some brand names, but I don't remember what they were. It is even safe to use on cover art, just have to let it 100% dry before putting it back in the case.

Ive only just started buying 3DS and WIIU games too properly, beforehand i only had a handful of 3DS games, I never bought Majoras mask on 3DS back in the day as i never fancied it due to the mechanics, but recently saw a youtuber play through it and fancied it, it cos almost £40 though :O Been buying WIIU as i only more recently bought one and the games are still pretty cheap - £10 - £20

I must recommend Radiant Historia (from Atlus) and Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked, and SMT Strange Journey Redux. DSO and Strange Journey are arguably the best in the series and, to me, are must plays.
I just recently got Kid Icarus Uprising and played through it. Surprisingly fun! It was also pretty funny in a silly way.
Right now, I'm focusing on games that have DLC. I just got both of my SMT IV games in the mail.
You could probably get a new naked case from Amazon to replace that one for OoT. I did that for some blue rays I had.
Just grabbed another 2ds xl. Came with fire emblem fates, pokemon y, pokemon sun, mk7, and minecraft. Picked up metroid samus returns and plan on getting much more too!
Just use some zippo lighter fluid and a qtip to get the sticker residue off, then wipe it with som alcohol after,it works better than goo gone, leaving no residue or smell like goo gone does, it will take 30 seconds of work to get it off
If you enjoyed sun and moon I can guarantee you will love ultra sun and moon it is way way better the original sun and moon felt incomplete and ultra just did it way better
