You should definitely buy games from the Yokai Watch series (especially the third one, since that didn't get much physical release so the prices will skyrocket). Amazing game series, would recommend.
Pushmo is another one of the first games, actually probably THE first game I got on the eShop. I was so addicted to that game, as a kid that LOVED everything puzzle games & platforming, it was the absolute best of both worlds. I also think it's a must have. I'm really hoping they make a new one for the switch.
The others in the series are also great. Crashmo jumps right to the challenging stuff. Stretchmo is the most varied, letting you pull out any side of (often enormous) objects, with a wide range of difficulties.
Losing that Wii U virtual console library is truly gonna sting, especially the DS games. There's still a few I want to snag before they pull the plug. Gonna really miss browsing the eshop on these systems.
Love this list! Definitely want to check out some of these titles. Also a 3DS eShop exclusive (at least in North America) that I like is Style Savvy: Styling Star. It’s super quirky but anyone who likes fashion and putting together outfits will find it enjoyable
@@EngineerDJ_Julius Amazing! I have 2606 people, mostly from Canada and the US. Did you buy any of the streetpass games? I bought them all, but my favourites were Monster Manor and Ultimate Angler.
I was gonna be sad if you didn't include Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword. That game is one of my favorite experiences ever. It was one of the first games I got when I first got my 3DS, the gameplay is so satisfying and addictive. I really hope they either port or make a new entry for the switch.
My favorite from the 3DS was VVVVVV, a Commodore 64 style platformer where your character flips gravity instead of jumping! Great game with a stellar 8 bit soundtrack!
The games I downloaded on my 3DS are Nintendo Badge Arcade, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, Stretchmo, Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe, Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure, Mario and Donkey Kong Minis on the Move, Photos with Mario, Pokémon Rumble World, Pokémon 3D Pro, Pokémon Picross, BOXBOY, Sparkle Snapshots 3D, and Swapdoodle. I also downloaded some DSi games and Virtual Console Game Boy Games, and I will be so sad when the 3DS shop closes.
On Wii U I highly recommend Dungeons & Dragons Chronicles of Mystara. It was only released on the SEGA Saturn. And this version adds a lot of improvements as well. Probably my favourite eShop game on the Wii U. Another very important mention would be Project Zero Maiden of black water. If you want to play it, as it was supposed to be played, with the Wii U Pad, rather than on the Switch.
A game I'd like to draw attention to is EDGE. It's a puzzle game where you control a cube in an abstract 3D world to reach a goal. It's on 3DS, Wii U, Steam, and also mobile devices if you aren't able to get it on the Nintendo consoles. Also, the Art of Balance soundtrack is great! I wouldn't have found it if you had not mentioned it here.
Metroid prime trilogy is a good one too- the physical copies are already ready expensive, so this is definitely the best way to buy it. *finished the video, he mentions it at the end
There's one game series that always gets overlooked on the 3DS which is the Etrian Odyssey series. They're extremely fun dungeon crawlers published by Atlus, and there's also 2 Persona spinoffs as well (Persona Q and Persona Q2). If you plan on digging into the series I think Etrian Odyssey IV is a great place to start, or if you just plan on getting one title then the final title Etrian Odyssey Nexus is a fine addition as well with lots of qol fixes. As someone who isn't typically into the dungeon crawling genre, I really can't stress enough just how lovable these games are and how much experimentation with your parties that you have.
I like Etrian Odyssey V a lot for pure gameplay. Been meaning to pick up Untold 2, as it's relatively cheap and is supposed to have the best story. I'd a little sad that Etrian Mystery Dungeon got delisted before the shop shut down; even used copies are expensive online.
Thanks for posting this. I just downloaded a bunch of Zelda games and Mario Kart to my 2DS XL. I have a couple more games I will get later before the eShop closes.

YES YES YES! About time someone talked about Weapon Shop de Omasse. Now for me, a game I’d recommend that’ll be gone forever (legally) would be the Denpa Men series. They’re really good, check them out.
I just recently found your channel and I really enjoy your content. Very well made and enjoyable videos! Anyway, one thing I highly recommend is the GBA version of Mario 3. Super Mario Advance 4. This is a must buy if your a hardcore Mario fan, because the Wii U version includes all the e-reader levels that are not available anywhere else. Not only do you get a really great version of Mario 3, but 40+ extra levels separate from the main game. You definitely will not regret it!

Shoutout to Nintendo Pocket Football Club. One of the best Eshop only games Nintendo's even done. I still play it now. If you're not a football/soccer fan it may not be for you. But it's honestly fantastic.
i really hope Nintendo doesn’t go forward with their plan to shut down the eshop. for starters they would be losing not only money but customers and there’s so many games on the e shops that are not on the switch. Unless there planning on porting everything to the switch then i don’t think it’s a good idea to shut down the e shops
no one is willing to pay, they are going to shut down the store regardless, anyways, they are losing money to keep the stores up because they aren't making their money back to pay for their eshop servers.
There really weren't customers until they announced its shutdown (at least not a significant amount), and it's likely at a point where it costs them more to keep it running than it's worth.
OMG THIS WHOLE TIME I THOUGHT I COULDNT ADD MONEY AFTER THE “REMOVED” THE FEATURE THANK YOU! also to the sucker who’s reading this after the 27th of march next year oof
This makes me so sad because this generation of Nintendo holds so many fond memories for me. I doubt I’ll ever reach the same level of community engagement I had with the Wii U and 3DS with another console ever again. I went from playing smash 4 online to entering local tournaments. I went from playing Pokémon X alone to running trades on Miiverse and Google + of all things. The community was small but completely dedicated and I never got the same mileage or notoriety on any other platform. Not that my ego is why I loved these systems so much, it was just they felt like home. I miss all my Nintendo friends. The switch just doesn’t have anything comparable to this. You can feel it just from looking at the switches main menu. There is zero heart and soul compared to when you turn on a 3DS or Wii U. I really wish people gave it more of a chance instead of comparing both consoles to the competition.
I have hshop, so I have access to every 3DS title ever made, BUT this does help me pinpoint some games to try out on the 3DS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND homebrewing your 3DS before the eShop dies. Pretendo network will be replacing Nintendo Network, and hShop will let you play anything you want.
Play your Wii U and 3ds! Hi all! If you love the Wii U and 3ds please PLAY them daily or at least weekly because your play data is still given to Nintendo. If we all play our systems regularly Nintendo will at least know how much this wonderful community of ours loves the Wii U and 3ds. This is one great thing we can all do easily to support the systems we love! Spread this message to as many people as you can so our big happy Wii U and 3ds family has fun forever! We all were and are a part of something special. Thank you all! ^^
I never heard anyone talk about Attack of the Friday Monsters until Nintendo announced the eShop’s closure. Now it’s suddenly on every “buy this before the eShop’s gone” list. If it was so great, I wonder why no one mentioned it before? 🤷♂️
There's also Dodge Club Pocket. I love this game. It's lots of little challenges where you pkay as a 2×2 square that must avoid a fireball. Except there's also electricity running around the edges of the ring, and the game uses this basic concept and makes lots of fun and tough challenges around it. It has fun characters, cool designs, great music and as I said, really cool gameplay. The concept and characters are so good I think that they deserve an animated show honestly. Basically Dodge Club is an underground sport with a DJ that plays music while the various participants have to avoid and dance around the living fire ball called Wisp and be the last one standing. The four characters are Speck, Dot, Atom and Quark. Their names are a joke on the fact that they're all small squares in game. They all have their own distinctive and quirky personality traits, they would work great on a show, and there's even LGBT+ representation. Speck is either a lesbian or bisexual since her description says she has an ex girlfriend, but I personally go with lesbian since her dating a girl is the only thing we know about her sexual orientation and we have no evidence of her liking boys. We have no idea who the ex-girlfriend is though. She is described as the personification of a sugar high and her motto is P.L.U.R. (Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect). Dot is very likely to be a trans girl. Not only her description says that she "decided to transform herself into a girl with confidence, style, and grace", which could be a coincidence, but her clothing also has the colors of the trans flag. She used to not fit in, but now she's a celebrity in the Dodge Club community, to the point where there a merch of her, like dolls (that Atom was quick to try voodoo on ^^' We can see that on in a little comic gained by completing one of the game's challenges) Speaking of him, Atom is an ex-DJ for Dodge Club but decided to become a player himself. He likes anime and well, voodoo apparently. He wears yellow glasses that let us see pink eyes but we don't really know if that's actually his eyes or something displayed by the glasses, especially since on some artwork, he's frightened and his eyes take on a zigzag shape, so it's probably the glasses. In the game, he composed his own theme. Quark is a competitive and serious girl. She takes Dodge Club training very seriously, as told by her description and shown by a comic where Speck acts as a commentator, acting like the non existing crowd (since it's training) cheers for her, which annoys Quark who wants to train. She also has a one-sided rivalry with Speck. I'm sorry that I write so much, but this game is great. You should play it. It doesn't cost much, the gameplay is cool, and these characters are incredible. It really deserves its own show for the concept and characters alone. There's even some basis for the plot, as the different challenges could be inspiration for episodes. For example, the main plot could revolve around these things called Dark Wisps. Usual Wisps are ignited by people, but nobody knows how these Dark Wisps ignite. They're defined as anomalies, and they're more likely to attack the participants directly. There are also Alice in Wonderland themed challenges that could make some fun episodes, or a blackout challenge that could also be a cool episode. It also has some challenges inspired arcade by arcade games like Pac Man when you have to eat 180 dots with 4 small colored Wisps on the field, or Space invader where you have to shoot the Wisp and even there's even a Mario challenge apparently but I'm not there yet (only 7 challenges left and they're tough). Those episodes would be awesome as well. Congratulations if you've read everything. I'm sure not a lot of people will. So basically. Play Dodge Club, there's also a Wii U version that has multiplayer. Also someone make a Dodge Club animated series (and yes, take me as the scenarist). As I explained, everything from the concept to the characters and the eventual plot are bursting with incredibly cool potential, and I wanna see that. Don't you ? The only downside is... Epilepsy warning. Well I'm not sure if it can actually cause problems to people with epilepsy, but considering how fast the lights flash sometimes, I wouldn't be surprised. You might want to turn the luminosity down when playing it, or not play it at all, if you have epilepsy.
I feel that Minecraft on the 3ds is a bit underrated. It has really good controls and is a 3ds exclusive. It’s a perfect way to play older versions of Minecraft
I thought i was unlucky that my mom bought me the Wii U one year before the release of the Nintendo Switch, but now that i think about it, i am quite lucky to have it. It was my first ever video game console, and i really love it.
I’m upset they are getting rid of the E Shops, I get that paying for upkeep and maintenance on the servers that run this costs money but I mean they earn money back from the loyal fans of these consoles and also earn a crap ton of money off of the switch and it’s games.
Sony tried this on PS3 a while ago.... And after many of us spent a bunch of money Sony was like "JK thanks for the money tho" and left it up and functional... I bet Nintendo's doing the same shit here to make a fat chunk of change Thanks for the content btw lol dope videos 👍

Wii will miss U eShop.
It's still open? I haven't even checked I thought it was already done lol
Wii U/3ds > Switch
Sovl vs no soul

@@DotReal at least i don't pay to play my game (online) after already buying the game
Yeah yeah, I get it.
I bought a new 2DS XL just to play older Pokemon games.
I don’t know if it’s still on the eshop but I remember getting Super Mario bros 3 advance 4. By far the best game I’ve ever got
I just really want to get my hand on a new 3/2ds xl before they become really rare to find.
they aren't rare
Don’t forget to pick up any DLC you want as well! That’s also going away forever
You can just use homebrew to get these games after the shutdown. For peeps watching this in the future.
Is it bad timing to be browsing these videos 12 hours before it shuts? Nope!
Who cares? Hshop goes brr
I never heard anyone talk about Attack of the Friday Monsters until Nintendo announced the eShop’s closure. Now it’s suddenly on every “buy this before the eShop’s gone” list. If it was so great, I wonder why no one mentioned it before? 🤷♂️
It's short and doesn't have much replay value, so it tended to show up on "hidden gems" type lists.
Yooo he mentioned oracle of ages!
She used to not fit in, but now she's a celebrity in the Dodge Club community, to the point where there a merch of her, like dolls (that Atom was quick to try voodoo on ^^' We can see that on in a little comic gained by completing one of the game's challenges)
Speaking of him, Atom is an ex-DJ for Dodge Club but decided to become a player himself.
We re ab 5 weeks away from shutdown and a new game just came out on the eShop. It's a new Silver Falls game. Axiom Verge is also on sale rn for $10.
Do I necessarily need a Nintendo Switch to add funds to my 3ds eshop?
I always wanted this,I have been lacking but I’m gonna restart the Wii U and I’m gonna try to get the games I want, hopefully I can add funds to get it
I meant to say this a while ago, but twilight princess HD is also nice to get before the closing
wow, some games I never heard of and I know most of them. Thanks!
Sadame is actually great too if you like Action RPG
Fantasy Life
I feel that Minecraft on the 3ds is a bit underrated. It has really good controls and is a 3ds exclusive. It’s a perfect way to play older versions of Minecraft
It's really strange thinking this is going to happen to my beloved 3ds
Laughs in Homebrew
Super helpful, thanks! Keep up the great content! 😁👍🏽
Dillon's rolling western literally has the same map from LOZ Ocarina of Time Lol
I thought i was unlucky that my mom bought me the Wii U one year before the release of the Nintendo Switch, but now that i think about it, i am quite lucky to have it. It was my first ever video game console, and i really love it.
bro, XD
its easy to mod and download those games anyways so for a first console this is a lot better tbh
what kind of nintendo case is that? or is it a model? im so jealous! your 3ds looks so cool.
Let's just hope and prey nintendo makes a wii u nintendo switch online
Not me looking at which games to download from Hshop
3ds is like the end of the old whacky Nintendo era. Switch is better, but less charming.
If Harmoknight wasn't so expensive.
Dude your videos are awesome!! Keep it up!
weapon shop de omasse is one of my favorite eshop games and i never see it included
Rusty’s Real Deal is amazing
This video got my sub great work!
Me with Tiramisu modded Wii U with Homebrew Launcher: 😎
I wonder if there is anyway to add these games to your account for future downloads
"There is no way to get this game after the eshop closes"
laughs in hshop
I’m upset they are getting rid of the E Shops, I get that paying for upkeep and maintenance on the servers that run this costs money but I mean they earn money back from the loyal fans of these consoles and also earn a crap ton of money off of the switch and it’s games.
Sony tried this on PS3 a while ago.... And after many of us spent a bunch of money Sony was like "JK thanks for the money tho" and left it up and functional...
I bet Nintendo's doing the same shit here to make a fat chunk of change
Thanks for the content btw lol dope videos 👍
Idk why he put pushmo for the Wii U it was on the 3DS I think 3DS is the best experience for that particular game
Are you not able to use Nintendo gift cards on the Wii U e shop
Would a Nintendo gift card still work on the 3DS???
What if I want to buy another 3ds and transfer my downloaded games like pokemon. Can I do that?
buy pokemon games too ! since they are so expensive in second hand
I've already did that what if I want to do it again????
Hopefully I don't have to update my wii u to do this cause I'm scared I'll lose all my games
Another reason to homebrew your 3ds :
RIP my money trying to buy most of these games.
Ah yes, games to “buy” before the eshop closes
hshop for 3ds: am i a joke to you?
