Amber Bruce We have a local breeder that does the ones with a more protruding nose, they are also a bit smaller. They are much healthier and happier. I think the breed standard should be changed a bit more.

As much as i love these dogs i do worry with all the health issues, these versions are far from the original bullys who had a more normal k9 snout. Im happy that emphasis is being put on trying to breed the snout back into the breed to alleviate the breathing conditions.

Can't breath, can't mate, can barely walk, can't deliver pups, prone to facial fold infection, heat exhaustion, eye issues (cherry eye, entropion) , tail issues (corkscrewing back into the body), soft palette issues (too long for shortened muzzle, obstruct breathing). What is wrong with us? Why do we do this on purpose to other species? Awful.
