(I use my husbands channel because he has UA-cam Premium lol)

On the website it says, “if necessary, you will be able to link the download to your tamagotchi uni device up to 3 times.” It also says that you can only have one DL area at a time. I’m wondering how this works.
Yeah, I'm concerned that, according to this wording, you can only switch the special areas up to so many times before you have to buy it again. 😕 That also has bad implications for longevity when Bandai discontinues the service.
Yes it's not super clear how this will work. I really hope it isn't 3 times on a single Uni. For the Smart cards it was 3 different Smart devices the card could be loaded on to. You also couldn't have more than one card loaded at a time with the Smart either. We were able to load a card on the same Smart for as many times as we wanted.
I hope we are misunderstanding the wording. For the Smart we could load the cards as many times as we wanted on the same Smart. I guess we will have to see how this goes.

I think is better to pay few dollars for dlc and keep using expensive device. They could also bring brand new Tamagotchi every 2 years, but they decided better IMHO.

I got both of the tama worlds, the concert one and the berry one. However... downloading the concert one resulted in loosing my new room from the berry world, aswell as the furnitures and a lot of items were deleted.... I payed money for something that took items from my device, and now I spent a lot of tama coins on literally nothing... Im so bummed out, and I dont think it was worth the money at all.
Jill not sure if you been playing the uni lately but i been seeing players with a new accessory its a head accessory, its like a hat with a heart and 2 other things on it i forget now, everyday i been checking the shop and the tamaverse and doing my walks for new DIYs and i havnt been able to find it, was wondering if you knew where to get it or how, when i see it again ill come back to this comment to write exactly what it looks like. Does it look like a crown? It may be the Happi Tiara you saw. It's a special download that was released with a Tamagotchi manga. Just go to the Tamagotchi wiki, go to the Download Codes page, and you'll see the code listed there (plus others) you can use.

but what is i update it a month later would the update still be correct like if i buy one now and update is everything still the same as someone who bought one from the beginning and updated it when there was a new update?
Great question- yes! If you buy one now and update it you will have access to all the same things that someone who has had it since the beginning and updated.
I’ll be working on figuring that out once I get home and can get it downloaded! I’m sure the community is working on it too. There are thoughts it might be like the Smart where you have to eat certain things or play with certain items to get the new characters.
btw why the h would u wanna pay almost 100 bucks for a tama uni and then pay for tama tickets i rly want a tama uni but if i need to pay to play then i would rather not have one
I see your concern, but don't think you have to pay to play. This isn't a loot box! You get tons of gameplay from just buying a Tamagotchi Uni and then if you want to expand your gameplay you can with a free download area or an area that you have to buy. You don't have to purchase anything after you get your Uni if you don't want to :)
I just put a screen protector on mine as soon as I opened it up. It doesn't live up to the amazing screen on the Smart, but it's fine once you have something on it. You are going to love the Smart. And then when you are ready join us with the Uni!

This update is fantastic but, I wish that they would add some sort of jean mixing like they did with the tamagotchi on/meets.
I don't think we'll see gene mixing with this device :(
Let's just hope they add it to the next tama. The gene mixing is what keeps me interested.

I'm so sorry! In the FAQ they explain that you can only have one DLC area loaded on your device at a time. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
