How about toxicity / beriliosis front the grinding dust ? In know its better but several suppliers warned me for the dust. So I only cut Seats but dont grind to match port to Seat. Also if heads are sold.......next customer might give seats a clean up with fine grinding paste........so I only use it on heads that can be traced by me.
Back in the early 90's I made my own valve seats from bar stock for some big quad racing engines. Machining in lathe I didn't keep enough coolant on them. It made my lips and tongue numb for a day. Warning came with the material that it must be fully covered with coolant when machined.
“If you know then you should be doing it “ That’s a good logo and standard for all HIgh performance shops to be adhering to I love it.
Thanks for the information..I never regretted spending money on a good set of cylinder heads
Also good to point out clearence on guides and wear and tear on Seats and guides if too loose fit. !!!!!
love the tech videos

@@brentfay6515 Clearly you've never done a "valve job".
$$$$ money be everything.
The valve lasts longer, but does the seat? Something has to wear.
Had they would have had all the ls stuff back then just what I have done 7 liter LS turbo deal for what I am using it for now
Last three digit of the heads are 816
Afew millon dollar top fuel race team should use those!!!
