Meet MBE’s Big 9 - a true game changer for anyone racing a Chevrolet big block. The Big 9 is all about moving the most air and fuel possible into the combustion chambers. Improved parts not only flow more air, but they also rotate the valve location inside the combustion chambers. This makes it possible to stuff the largest intake valves ever into a Big Chief-style cylinder head. The intake val...

    Currently designing a 4 valve dohc head for my small block Mopar, and was also going to 3d print the prototype for Fitment before purchasing the big aluminum blocks for milling. What material filiment are you getting your models in? I have exsperience with Pla but thinking a nylon or ABS filament would make a nicer part... Structurally anyway. Super glad to have found your channel and thanks for sharing some of you guys process! Looking forward to future videos!!

    My gawd! Look at the csa of those runners, transition on roof . Beautiful man!! Wish I had the funds to get the perfect 4150 single plane for my SR 383 sbc. For now a well ported/flowed 7530 Team G...dont know if a strip dominator would help, hurt it lose manners etc .Love me some pretty engine jewelry!

    Generally when you go from a big hole to a smaller hole you gain pressure and velocity? example holding your finger over the end of a garden hose? Can you explain that.

    I picked up a 4.5000 bore spacing deal it’s 488 cubic inches in total im having my machine shop making sure everything is good the guy said he had it refreshed but you never know I think ved and Proline originally built the engine my buddy picked it up off a guy and I got it off him but I have a set of twin 88s from forced inductions and I have a 3 speed lock up all M&M I may be calling on you for a set of these heads. I currently run a Ls I’m trying to get away from all the head gaskets problems once you shove boost down there throat.

    Most honest explanation I’ve heard. The problem with “quench” is: it has to be 100% perfect for it to work. If the quench ain’t perfect, you don’t want it.

    Thank you kindly, Sir. Although I am into Harley M8 builds, your advice crosses over. And I'm sure I'm not alone by saying, your content is not boring. I had a similar experience with the company (J.E.T.) I went with. During my assessment phase I shared that I had purchased a set of Kibble White valves and springs. They cost more than the discount I would have received. But I decided to not use my Kibble Whites because I detected a little disappointment in Robert Johnson's voice, the King of the Bagger racer and owner of JET. I had to make a decision, go with the my setup or go with JET. "Don't hold on to a mistake no matter how much time and money you put into making it." I went with JET. The Kibble Whites I purchased were 550 lift +1 valves. The Scream'n Eagle heads were finished with 650 lift springs and +2 valves. Trusting your guy can be one of the best decisions in a sea 🌊 of decisions that is engine building. Thanks again brother. SKWID Rider’s Shipmate ET1(SS/SW/MTS) US Navy, Ret. I was wondering is it possible to use a stock block with any of your 18,15,13 or 10 degree heads? I’m sorry if that’s a dumb question but ive only built 23 degree stuff so I was just wondering if I could buy a set and put on the short block I already bought. It is a stock 4 bolt main 350 that has splayed mains and I’m using a scat 3.75 stroke crank with crower 6 inch rods and Mahle forged pistons which are 13 to 1 compression with 64cc heads. So any help would be greatly appreciated. The quality of your parts look amazing and I know if I start using them lots of racers around my area would start buying them also. Because right now most are using dart 220 heads I believe and the video of your heads flowed way better then the heads we have now.

    What do you know about 7.3 Powerstroke turbo diesel heads, porting, valve diameter limitations over the stock 1.675”, flowing heads with a way to mimic boosted applications verses NA engine heads? I can’t find hardly find anything so I started the Coast to Coast Diesel Enthusiasts UA-cam channel and I’m trying to bring others some kind of information and explanations of how helical ports work verses conventional ports. No local machine shop has a flow bench to test diesel heads, I’ll probably have to drive from Fort Mitchell, Alabama to another State to finalize my port work. There’s a Tremendous Void in the Diesel Community when it comes to port work knowledge. I’m going to Pioneer a way to fill that gap.

    Have a 632/860hp 4:11 boat now. 107mph. And a brand new 632 tall Dart block on a stand that I'm building. Looking for more power staying under 10.5:1. What's the complete top end kit cost for this application?

  • @antilaw9911
    @antilaw9911 6 місяців тому

    Manufacturers make hogged heads because they sell on myth. An experience builder and racer knows different. All about matching the proper application. Generally bigger ports... bigger cubes. Need to keep that velocity constant.

    When the quench is in the sweet spot .030-.040s, it is quite beneficial, .050 and larger a liability, and measures should be taken to alleviate the knock it causes - as the video shows
