I was stationed on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Bridle out of Group Southwest harbor Me. We maintained this lighthouse as all from Eagle Island to Quoddy Head light. we was responsible for the beginning of automating of all the light houses. So many memories I have of being part of these Light houses that a very few can have. I am blessed ! Oh the stories I have from working and sleeping on these living and breathing land marks of Maine. Wow. Greta job, so smooth with the camera on a drone. I grew up on the coast of downeast Maine and you have captured its beauty, blending it with a great piece of music.

Nobody lives there anymore, the lighthouse is completely automated....College students stay occasionally to do bird studies.

Cracking vid of an awesome place! Thumbs up from england capt, how,s your lobster season been? Ours started well but we,ve been forced ashore for 5 weeks now due to gales!! No lobster means no money and gales mean wrecked gear!!

Lobster season seems to be ending early here and the bottom has dropped out of the price to the fishermen!

+Capt. John's Bar its always been the same! We do the hard part for pennies while the buyers get the big bucks and keep there hands clean! And make out theyre doing us a huge favour when they increase the price by a penny or two! But hey we,re fishermen john its what we do,,, stay safe, all the best.

*not sure how i missed this one but i take it since everything is all boarded up on the island that this is an unmanned light house. I got the Mavic PRO headed to me should be in this afternoon in fact and once i get used to the thing i'll be able to post up some nice footage like this as well. maybe not as scenic and relaxing as this with all that ocean all around but still nice to look at i'm hoping. still in 4k though. Really nice video wonder what the options are for camping out there. lol*

It's closed to the public for camping, bird sanctuary....Only reason i didnt get the Mavic Pro was because of the fold out arms....Was suspect on the durability in the event of a crash.

the legs are actually quite a bit thicker than the plastic the phantoms are made out of. so the only thing i would be concerned about is the swivel joints on the thing but they appear to be made pretty well. i will say one thing though I Promise anyone that the phantom 4 is WAY easier to set up than the mavic. OMFG i sat here for 3 hours last night trying to get my mavic to set up with my phone and the controller. took forever till i figured out that the dji go 4 app was not what i needed. my book kept saying dji go well the 4 is just the newer version of that i thought but no no. not sure what the v4 is but the one that ended up working finally was simply the dji go app that came up first in the google play store. downloaded that and boom working! Now i don't think either one will be any more difficult to fly than the other and they both have 27 minute flight times, both have amazing 4k cameras, both have obstacle avoidance flight, both do really well with the folloe me feature. but the mavic doesn't drift away in high winds like the phantom 4 does plus the whole folding up into a tiny back pack thing making it really portable was my deciding factor. can't get out and fly mine yet because of rain though so no video yet*
