The more I watch Callen, the more I appreciate his humor. He really has such a unique sense of humor. Almost every sentence he says is his own unique comedic twist. He’s just so subtle with it.
Yeah, he's so hard to recommend to people. His comedy is especially esoteric. Most can't even see past the fact that what he does is indeed a character. The "Bryan is a fake tough guy" is such a cursory critisism. Sure, he is in fact into macho stuff. But he's most certainly making fun of it, and he is most certainly making fun of himself. Once you can get past it, he's actually uniquely funny.

He’s not a mean person, that’s why he couldn’t win in the top five of the ufc bc he just naturally is a loving person. In order to be a championship level fighter you gotta have a kill or be killed mindset, if you go in there with the mindset of this is a football or basketball game and you just gotta score more points than your opponent, your gonna get caught on Queer Street. I personally have never fought a single amateur or pro fight, despite 14 years of MMA training, bc I’m not a mean person, and Ik I could never be a champion, so why take the brain damage?
The average UFC fighter makes $140k a year, I make $102k a year to sit on my ass and drive a semi, and I bet my benefits are probably a lot better than the UFC or any other fight promotion. My 401k is matched, my car, health, life, dental and vision insurances cost 30$ a month combined and my copays for medicine are typically 1-3$ and my copays for mine and my families routine Dr/Dentist visits are ab 15-20$, and the most I ever paid for a surgery were my wife’s two c-sections which were $2200 a piece, a c-section to someone with no insurance would cost $23,000-71,000 depending on the state you live in, and most ppl in my line of work pay $4000-7000 copays on their wives c-sections/childbirth. Outside of free government insurance there is no better benefits than what I have. Hypothetically if something were to happen to me at work this week , my wife and 2 kids would receive ab $906,000 between my life insurance from work ($500k), the one I purchased on myself ($125k) and the ($281k) I have so far in my 401k, as well as a paid off 4 bed 3.5 bath house due to mortgage protection insurance, and 3 nice cars less than 5 years old bought from 2019-2021. I bet there is only 15-20 fighters in the UFC’s history that can say they’ve made enough money to leave more to their families than me.
