Hellooo, I hope you enjoyed this little story about my funny new camera. I must not forget to take it with me to the next party :,D Also, thank you so much to Wondershare Recoverit for sponsoring another video! If you ever loose your data or mistakenly format an SD-card, they can help you out. It seems like the fixed focus on the camera might be intentional, considering it's likely designed for children, who tend to take photos of things up close - their toys, pets, or family members - rather than distant landscapes. Anyways, I loved the video and the pics look very nice 🤍
Was about to suggest the same. I also used to own a fisher price perfect shot camera as a kid and remember shoving the lens really into the ladybugs faces that I saw 😅
Yes! I remember I got gifted a vivitar camcorder (my first camera!) when I was around 6, and I would always get up close to my budgies and take pics of them really up close lol.
I can't help feeling sorry for little Teo, whose camera was never given to him in the early 2000's. What misdemeanor did he commit that caused his parents to put it back in the closet, there to remain for lo these many years?
Brightly colour camera, comfortable handle, binoculars view finder, this is the best camera ever and don't forget the best feature of all backdoor lock mechanism!!! Why not every camera built like that so no more someone accidentally open the backdoor 😅😂
Fun camera and very attractive looking. I assume the camera was designed with children's perspective therefore fixed close focus distance. You have just proved the point that camera doesn't matter, a person behind the camera matters more.
I always enjoy your videos!!! They are presented in a very aesthetic way, they are helpful & extremely interesting!!! Thank you for your videos & continue the amazing work & effort you put into them!! 📸🎞️
Wonderful video Teo! Seen these types of cameras floating around charity/thrift shops, some film, some digital! Fun! How a simple camera can still be a joy to use and get some decent results! Thanks for sharing!
Hi; i just wanna tank you for the good mood that you put me in with your vedios, you remember me with the old days when i was younger caring for nothing enjoying photography and the whol process of taking and developing film .... nowaday its a bit hard for me to do it as i used to due to the complecatings in life, family and responsielity. keep on my friend wish you all the best your old felow photographer Haitham
I bought my first film camera and have shot 3 rolls of film!! Thanks for all the tips and inspiration! Canon AE-1 and Kodak Gold 200 and Kodak UltraMax400!
I really enjoyed this video Teo nice and fun. Actually laughed audiably with that first test shot, that was, in my opinion some of your finer work. Would love to see you try again with your knowledge about the camera.
Well with F6.8 and 35mm it would be hard to make this lens sharp to infinity, probably it is calibrated for shooting people like from 1,5m to 4m with focus point set around 2,5m.
lovely video, thank you! i was just thinking that you could maybe put the name of the camera somewhere, even just the description, as i can imagine someone getting a hold of this camera and desperately looking for some information about it online, only to find not much :( it's a scenario i've found myself in and it's not fun! this video could really help someone. thanks from spain :)
what do think that little children (for which this camera is made) are going to shoot ? Landscapes ? Seastacks in the the sunset ? They will make photos of their friends and playmates. Sitting together at beach, building a sandcastles. Sitting together at a birthday table making a photo of their playmate sitting opposite. Focus point within 2 or 3 meters seems to be very thoughtful in my opinion.... Nice video, Thx for your work.
The only reason I can think of why the camera only holds focus when it's more than what's in front of you is maybe it's meant to be a portrait lens? Like specifically to take photos of people that's right in front of it?
I don’t know what camera I expected but certainly not this one lol. It has the same color scheme as Willem Verbeeck’s Long Weekend camera accessories, Fisher Price was ahead of its time design-wise! 😂
Hi, I've just gotten my first film camera, and I have a quick question. After getting a digital version of your photos, do you ever edit/color grade them with programs such as lightroom? Thanks!
I scan my film myself, so it's kind of hard to say, because the conversion process is basically and editing process, but some may not count this as editing. Your digital scans you received are also edited, because the lab edits them for you. So if you are not entirely happy with their edit and would prefer to make minor changes, you can go ahead and do that yourself in Lightroom. It's your photography, your choice, so I do not see any issue there?
Thank you! My video's colours mostly stem from colour grading I do in Lumetri - I usually only add Dehancer on top as an extra subtle spice sort of :D Often I will use only the Grain, Halation and Bloom without any film simulation. Other times I do use some simulations - I usually find myself choosing FujiPro 400H because it is more subtle.
Thank you! Ahhh I've been meaning to make this, but it would take a looot of work to find them all again (they're all from Epidemic Sound btw.) so I haven't gotten around to making such a playlist yet :/
@@rifkzzz None, I just spend many hours going through the tracks of different genres. I usually pick a genre and then filter by tags such as “with Vocals”. So for example the song in the intro I found in the genre Alternative-Rock, which I just filtered by vocals and then clicked through a bunch of songs until I found this one which hit just the right vibes for me☺️🙌🏼
OMGGG I HAD THIS CAMERA AS A KID... god i wish my parents still had this... oh man this brings back memories ...this camera was my very introduction to photography...i just didnt realize back then
The world of small children isn't very large from the perspective of an adult,so Fisher Price got it about right and also allowed for a child's attention span.........................................

😂😂
Imagine if he got it
Wonder how different is his photography style compared to this reality
Omg hahaha I hope that was not the reason :,D
Hahahah I wonder :,D
That reveal though 🤣

that sponsor cut was genius
I enjoy a lot watching Teo's videos as they are very calm but also relaxing trough his voice and style
Congrats to your mom for thinking of you. The photos are pretty decent. Now I want one.
Ah the HOLY GRAIL of cameras.
😄 I had one of these as a kid. loved using it, even if I couldnt afford film all that often. glad to see it making a comeback

I had this camera but in red! Was literally just talking about it the other day
Also, i love the out-of-focus backgrounds. They're quite nostalgic

I never had the desire to visit Innsbruck but then I saw your videos.

Wow! You have a great mom!
So much fun :)
Wow binocular viewfinder! That's amazing. Would love to have it on other cameras
What a curious piece of camera history. Thanks for sharing.

I thought the same!
Ahhh true, I'll add it to the description or the hashtags :)
The focus depth seems to make sense for little kids making photographs of little kids.
These videos just never miss. Amazing man
Thank you! :,))
the binocular view finder is quite peculiar and an amazing spec haha
producing quite amazing images still despite just being a kids camera!

Nice video, Thx for your work.
Very true, I didn't think of that haha
The lens is surprisingly good and sharp when you shoot near objects.
Wowww so many pretty shots of the trees!!!
Your footage always looks so good
This video is the proof that you don't need a 1000€ camera to take good picture...and also to enjoy the whole process
Good video Teo 💪
I remember playing around with this camera back in the days :)
bae wake up new teo post dropped
Yooo, this was my very first camera. I had the black/red model. I got it for Christmas in 2000 when I was 8 years old.
The only reason I can think of why the camera only holds focus when it's more than what's in front of you is maybe it's meant to be a portrait lens? Like specifically to take photos of people that's right in front of it?
Haha, what a funny camera! Never seen anything like that.
what a sophisticated camera
I like the reveal.
I don’t know what camera I expected but certainly not this one lol. It has the same color scheme as Willem Verbeeck’s Long Weekend camera accessories, Fisher Price was ahead of its time design-wise! 😂
Hahaha Fisher-price knew what they were doing :,D
The camera is soo cuteee
they need to make more of these nowadays, except it shoots digital instead of film
I’d pay bro to narrate my life
ITS SO CUTE
Try Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo!! It would be a great hybrid cam for you to try please😭😭
Ich fands sehr lustig. Cool gemacht das Video.😊 Einfach alles nicht so ernst nehmen. Das ist ein gutes Motto 😊

That is so awesome
You should test the EOS 3, this is a banger in the 35mm world
Is it worth buying a Pentax camera with M-42 mount? Or is it better to buy a camera with Pentax K mount?
is theo said ikuzo at 4:49 👀
brilliant
hi teo, how do you film your pov shots?
It’s… magnificent 😂
Es sind immer wieder mega nice Videos
Danke dir!
kidcore camera save me,, kidcore camera please save me
Your film colors are very beautiful, what film emulator did you use in dehancer?
Thank you! My video's colours mostly stem from colour grading I do in Lumetri - I usually only add Dehancer on top as an extra subtle spice sort of :D Often I will use only the Grain, Halation and Bloom without any film simulation. "We got a 2319!"
noooo I want more gx80/85 content :(
Sorry the GX80 is now retired - this is my new camera for everything...
No worries haha, will be shooting with GX80 too of courseee :D
Hi Teo, nice vid, I'm wondering if i could get a link to your songs that are used in ur vid, like a playlist or something?
Thank you! Ahhh I've been meaning to make this, but it would take a looot of work to find them all again (they're all from Epidemic Sound btw.) so I haven't gotten around to making such a playlist yet :/
@@teocrawford from Epidemic Sound?? omg that's surprising, what keyword do you use to find these music?

anyone know whats the name of the song that starts at 0:17 ?
It's called Window with a View by Sleepaway Camp :))
Hey! Do you sell your luts / video filters? thanks :)
I don't, however I have tutorials on my Patreon where I breakdown my colour grading process - maybe that can help? :)
What do you use to film/edit your UA-cam videos?
I shoot mostly with a Sony A7iii and edit in Premiere Pro :)

Iam surprise that you don’t buy any camera when you are in Japan
I didn't have the budget at the time - was simply trying to fund my stay there haha :D
Dude loose that toy cam! get back to your Pentax! 😅
